    I am amazed that he instantly matured in the NBA. Love his confidence, plays like a veteran even though it is his first season. Hope him well and healthy

      Before i thought that nobody will pass Steph Curry as the greatest shooter 3 points of all time.But after i saw this amazing performance of Dalton,he can be the number one if no injurys.

      He’s 23 so he’s an older rookie.. still impressive that he’s so productive this early but he’s not like most of the rookies that were drafted. He’s battle tested.

    Happy for the kid especially since he was judged for being "too old". Lakers are going to be tough this year.....Go get dwight howard to defend Jockic in the playoffs.

      We will get better than Dwight who is washed, we could get Kessler, Vucevic or Valanciunas, all real 7footer with big fat bodies to bang in the post vs the big fat Serbian, people don’t realize it but Dwight is only 6’10, just like AD, the only thing that make him dominant is his 7’5 wingspan (AD has a 7’6 wingspan), and his athleticism, especially his 39.5 inches vertical in his prime but now it’s probably 32-33 at most, and he is no longer 280 like in his prime, even in 2020 he was already 260, and now probably around 250 so believe me if AD, Gobert, Bam, Draymond, Ayton or hell even PJ Tucker or Rui couldn’t guard him, then nobody can guard him except maybe Wemby who’s so tall and lenghty that even if Jokic back him up he can still block or alter his shot .. The only way to beat Jokic is to make him work as much as possible on defense, that’s his only weakness, make him run with ball movements, attack the rim with your quick guards or bigs, stretch the floor to make him run even more .. The best way to beat Jokic is either to outscore his team, or to completely shutting down his teammates like the Wolves did, and now it’s easier than ever because KCP is no longer there, Jamal Murray is injury prone and Russ is .. Russ.
      People forget but Lakers were up like 80% of the time in their last playoffs serie last season, and if we just had Cam Reddish or Vanderbilt healthy i think Jamal Murray doesn’t hit 2 game winner, and if we had Dalton off the bench, with JJ as a coach.. We definitely win this serie, we definitely win vs the Wolves, and we would’ve a chance against the MAVS, and maybe even the Celtics

      @KC-lg8qf 4 дня назад +2

      @Anthonydu01630 All those guys you would likely have to trade for...... You can just sign Dwight off the street. He has never been washed.... And can certainly play 15 minutes a night focusing on defense

      @DrKnowNothing1 absolutely! You can expect AD to be this effective on offense while having to bang with a Jockic. It will wear him down. Repeat the formula from the championship run.

    i think the Lakers were looking for a center in the draft but this guy was too good to pass on. JJ definitely has taken better advantage of the players on the team compared to the previous coach but i'm not convinced they're a real title contender. their schedule hasn't been that difficult yet and they've basically just been winning games they should win.

    Let's not forget Jared McCain, Zach Edey, still a long season ahead. Way too early to crown anyone the winner but these 3 are sticking out of the pack so far.

      I’d say yes for Jared McCain but his team is not winning now, so he’s not getting the publicity that he needs. But he’s a great rookie, no doubt. If you ball out in LA, you got the marketing machine behind you.

    He didn’t instantly mature in the NBA. He spent four years maturing in college. That’s the difference between players now and back in the day players now are 18 and are not matured and don’t know the game and have to learn it over a 4-5 year period before you see a return. back in the day players played for four years in College and entered the League with a much higher basketball IQ as is the case with Kinect.

      This dude is not a one trick pony. He reads the floor, moves to the open spot, if they deny he cuts back door, he reads the screen defense very well and he’s athletic. I don’t know if people understand how he has changed the dynamics of the Lakers offense. No more clogged lanes, better spacing, not allowing defenses to overload on the strong side. The biggest benefactor has been AD. If they cheat, swing, swing and it’s DK4 all day baby.
