really appreciate this video!! honestly so helpful because i was so confused on which one to buy. also a tip for cream contour: for the longest time, i avoided cream contour because like you, i used a sponge to blend it out and it always kinda looked splotchy. everything changed when i used a stippling brush. life. changing. please try blending out cream contour with a stippling brush! i love the luxie one and the elf one (the large stippling brush). it blends out cream contour seamlessly. i think sponges are just too fat and doesn't work well with cream color products!
I’m going to be uploading another battle of the sponges in about a week so stay tuned for that as well! I also found that I prefer the colourpop foundation stick for a cream contour/bronzer! The formula blends so easily and it’s not too crazy in pigment so I never go overboard! ❤️❤️
I prefer their original. I just tried the Moochi and it straight up mooched all of my foundation. I went back to the original. You said it, "if you want full coverage". I am 39 Tuesday, so skin texture definitely counts in blender's.

do you not find the new paw paw sponge to be insanely softer than the original? i feel like it is, but not in a good way - it has no density or structure at all and folds in on itself. the original had the perfect amount of density and softness!

I love my Paw Paw sponges! I have bought some for all my sisters and nieces. I clean mine by putting it in water and microwave for 2 minutes. It cleans them great and it gets all germs and stuff off. I also use a little bit of Dawn.

the first Pawpaw sponge i ever got was very soft i loved it, the 2nd wasn't as soft but had the light pink color and today, i just got the most recent one that is pink and it's as soft as the first one i ever got, and i love the feel of the Mochi blender its not very soft but it's like the 2nd pawpaw sponge i got

How would you say the new formulation compares to the Japonesque Kumadori? I think I remember seeing a video on that one from you. By new formulation I mean the ones on the site labeled "super soft". Thank you for all the sponge reviews!
I miss my japonesque! Still the same review as I said before for the kumadori sponge - it’s firm but blends very well! ShopMissA has more of a “memory foam” texture and I haven’t really felt that in a lot of other sponges on the market. Both are great sponges, but ulta no longer carries Japonesque which is why I no longer use it :/

I never really have problems with removing stains because I use the site soap. I think I let it soak in warm water for 30 seconds then I go in 2 times and it removes it so good. I’m anemic so I also love the way soap smells 😂
ThatsSoYin I love that soap. I meant I just love soap in general. (If I could eat soap I would) but it tastes gross. Yeah I was just reading the ingredients but idk if they’re dangerous. A lot of people use it for there acne(which is strange never though of using that on the face 🙄😂) girl just try it one time and if you don’t like it just use it for your clothes 😂

I personally prefer that paw paw texture. I love a marshmallow soft sponge :)
The dark pink original wonder blender is honestly my favourite and prefer it over the paw paw blenders. I have yet to try the mochi one, though.
You probably prefer a more dense sponge!

It really depends on the sponge! I find that super hard sponges soak up the most product.

Try cleaning your sponge with Dawn dish soap... It gets mines really clean.
I’m trying not to use too many products that still tests on animals! That’s why I use Dr Bronners as my Dawn alternative!
