Not a Katy's fan, but I want to let you all know that when you are pregnant you tend to forgot A LOT about everything. It can sounds silly, but when I was pregnant I forgot how to properly drink water at least 20 times, so it can be totally understandable that she forgot about old songs.

Forget 12 years, Simple was like 18 years old when this was shot... and I'm pretty sure she never played any of her unreleased stuff after she got her new record deal... understandable. But that first album is worth a listen. So radically different from everything after, probably primarily thanks to Glenn Ballard.

Omg for everyone asking why she is putting on an English accent, she’s clearly just being silly and joking around because of the interviewer’s accent.
She probably is more confident in her ability to mimic it since she’s engaged to Orlando Bloom & undoubtably spends lots of time with him & hears his accent. Lol, she’s not being serious.
Well it still is quite surprising. I think I applaud her for it, because I remember some people go to England and can talk and have the accent just like them. It doesn’t really matter if she’s joking or not, she’s doing great with that accent!! It sounds cool :)

That sounds kinda creepy, but it’s true, however it doesn’t surprise me because I knew before watching that she doesn’t listen to her own music and I do on the daily, so I guess that makes sense.
Plus if you make like a lot of music then you’d be focusing more on the now than then, so I don’t think she would have to memorize her lyrics unless a concert or something...
