@- king- I still have my Galaxy Beam. The phone came with an extra battery and extra- idk how to call it but you put the battery there to charge it. I had the phone back in 2016, I guess, I don't remember anymore. The battery runs out fast so the extra battery is a huge help. If you want to have a smartphone with a projector, buy a most recent released one as it's a guarantee that it will have a bigger battery for it and will have a better performance. The Galaxy Beam came with ginger bread android version, I guess, and so little ram and storage. My Galaxy Beam now lags and can't handle applications without lagging for a long time first.

I saw a chinease phone with projector in 2007,,, android or ios had not that kind of fame back then but this technology existed at time.
@@sachin1825 Yup, I saw and had one back then in 2009, it even uses a Nokia BL-5C battery... I forgot the brand and model, but it was a dual sim Chinese phone, and it looks kind of a hybrid between a Nokia and a Vertu... But that phone doesn't have WiFi nor 3G, and video playback had to be done via what 360p max mp4 video uploaded onto the microSD of which only 2GB max is supported, plus the loud fan when the projector is on, which is of bad quality but a cool gimmick during its time... I've disposed it off when 2G network was shut down in my country...

And one before that, the original Beam from 2010, the i8520. The Beam from 2012 was the second Beam branded phone. In fact, Samsung had made a projector phone before 2010 as well.

That is very cool.....I know the Motorola Moto Z has a projector modular (and many other mods) that works really great too, my friend uses hers and it looks pretty clear. Not in a dark locker room, but to each their own (grin)

I use my Moto Z2 Play with Insta-Share projector and I really like it.

This option of having a projector incorporated into the cell phone I find it very useful, in my job as a teacher, many times I need to quickly make a small demonstration in the classroom, and sometimes I do not have to hand, or the professional projector does not work. I think it's a phone that gives an alternative and / or interesting help for some professional and recreational activities.
And I think the same of the tablets that bring the same thing as a built-in projector.☺
As a teacher go for a seperate pico.. The projection is horrible. Its low res. Cant read any text. And white looks luke white with mini color points in it that gives headaches and the brightness is horribly bad. Get a pico for less money and you will see double the resolution and twice the brightness
