Great interview Helen! I honestly think this is the best one yet by far I’ve seen with Weili. It seems much easier to follow along with the subtitles, rather than with a translater repeating what she’s saying. Hopefully she’s learning English , as I really think that’ll truly help boost her US fan base to a different level. (imho of course!) Keep up the great work Helen!!

"My name is ZHANG WEILI, remember ME!"
Loved that line after her title win. I don't get the UFC's insistence on calling her Weili Zhang just because "the family name is said last here". Okay well she's not from here and there they say the family name first... just pronounce the name the way the person themselves says it ffs.

Hi from Hong Kong, Helen, great job with the translation. Weili spoke in plainly, but you managed to capture her mood/disposition/feeling in the subtitles. Great journalism, and something increasingly important as we see more Chinese fighters in the UFC. Also, subscribed now (and I bet your parents complain to you about paying more attention to the 4-tones...just as mine do to me).

Even videos where some of the translations are missed in real time, because it can be difficult to track everything someone says in real time to translate especially if it is long, like her latest post-fight interview in the Octagon after the Joanna fight, if you can help translate what she said like this in a video, that will be of great help. 🙏
