I love the fact that Rose is so humble. She is such a smart fighter, sometimes I wish she had more power, other fighters seems to rely mainly on their power, but Rose seems to rely more on thinking power, and that's what makes her special.
How is it that Rose took 5x defending champion Joanna out in 1 round and beat her convincingly in the rematch, a technical battle, took champion Zhang out in 1 round and edged her in a very close rematch, then lost to Esparza in the ultimate sleeping pill of a fight? Just insane. She's one of the most well rounded, brilliant fighters but that recent one was simply baffling and not indicative at all of the world class fighter or person she is.

There's something about that intercepting right cross at 15:52 that's so beautiful. She times it in such a way that she's able to hit Weili cleanly while ducking under the left hook counter at the same time. Even better is that she used it as a set-up for the takedown at 16:46. She's used that set-up/takedown in past fights, but perfecting the right cross makes the set-up much more convincing.

Rose was more worried about Carla's grappling than Weili's. Carla will lay on you for 5 rounds with no remorse, but we haven't really seen that with Weili even when she out grapples people.
I’ve watched it so many times trying to score it for Rose no clue how they gave her the decision or how they gave her 4 rounds. Zhang’s a better fighter after the losses so I’m not too upset now. 😊

It wasn't even close. Rose clearly won rounds 2, 4 and 5, so 48-47 Rose is the correct decision. And that's being generous and giving the first round to Weili.
