      @@origamiambientalthough the two films are different, they do share some threads of thematic commonality: they both tell the story of a man choosing to fight on the front lines of the battle for humanity's future, while sacrificing his familial obligations and emotional and physical wellbeing in the process. With that being said, Cooper unequivocally saved humanity; with Oppenheimer, it isn't so clear.
      Also, as an aside, I find it interesting how Oppenheimer hypothesized the existence of black holes and, in Interstellar, it was a black hole that ultimately made Cooper's last minute heroics possible. I wonder if Nolan purposely highlighted this aspect of Oppenheimer's life and work in the film, at least partially, as a nod or reference to Interstellar?
      Anyways, thanks for the looped soundtrack! haha

    • @vaibhavk2400
      @vaibhavk2400 9 месяцев назад

      @@KBrown-fw1gu Oppenheimer was a physicist who was acquainted with general relativity. So I doubt it was a specific reference, it is just that every physicist in the side of particle physics and general relativity was aware of black holes due to their increasing popularity among PDE theory, differential geometry and other branches of mathematics, along with the fact that QFT was at the base of inception at the time.

    This movie and song awaken such a strong feeling of appreciation for cinema and music. On todays world where we are bombarded with endless content and trends that don’t give us enough time to take everything in and appreciate it. But whenever I watched Oppenheimer in Theaters, from start to finish I was flabbergasted with such beauty and artistic touches the film and its soundtracks had. Truly made me feel like a child again watching their favorite show or movie for the first time, or discovering a song that you have in repeat for days. We need more films like Oppenheimer, films that have true cinematic experiences and make you wanna see it again and again.

      This is exactly what i thought during the movie. This movie brings in a feeling of existential dread but soothes you that it will happen beautifully and you will be lost to the sea of symphony. Something like that, im trying to wrap my head around this still.

    *Humans are incredible creatures and the landscapes we create are beautiful, yet terrifying. The thought that us humans have advanced so much is an incredibly fascinating thought, we have managed to create artificial worlds and even artificial hearts and human parts. But the intelligence we have is somehow terrifying at the same time, we have created artificial living creatures even, and have gotten to boundaries outside our own solar system. We have been able to harness the power of the sun to power our machines. And the artificial intelligence we made is beautiful yet horrifying, we have come so far, from the huts and caves of the Stone Age to this. Let us hope that humanity will never make a weapon of which accidentally kills the world, though I do wonder, artificial intelligence could wipe us all out if we don’t control it enough, though let us hope that never happens.*
