We don't do tons of Animal Crossing content so any support on this video is extra appreciated! Comment below what you think is the future of Animal Crossing!
Decorating can be fun, but I would much rather just be a regular villager who´s part of a community capable of thriving on it´s own. I hope in the next game we get more shops/locales and our villagers can have more personality and agency (but keep them not being able to leave without our permission, that can stay 😄).
Exactly this. Doubling down on the sandbox feel is just gonna take the rest of the immersion away. I don’t want to feel like god, I just wanna feel part of a community. I think if they take enough leaves out of new leaf’s book , we’ll be ok.
agreed. the next game needs a better balance! during new leaf, everyone wanted the capability to place items outside, i’ll never understand why nintendo thought that was ALL we wanted! 😵💫
There’s really only one thing I need in the next animal crossing game
MORE THAN ONE ISLAND PER CONSOLE
I feel like for me the problem with new horizons was that you unlock everything too fast. I love this game, but i feel like i had completed everything super fast, and that there wasn’t much more to do after that. When I played New Leaf, it took me much longer to unlock things, and it felt like there always was something new to unlock that you didn’t know about yet
Same
No mini games is such a missed opportunity.
Animal crossing new horizons had so much potential for updates why stop updating Nintendo
Money
Yeah its really disappointing
Out of all three new game concepts presented here, I would have to say that Animal Crossing: New Heights sounds the most appealing to me personally.
I just want the classic ac charm from the old games back. Based in a cozy forest town, like old times
“New Heights” sounds like the best version of Animal Crossing… so fingers crossed the new one is anything like that lol amazing idea!
Why not a mix of both?
When I said mix them both I didn't mean the last one. Not gonna lie I hate that last idea. Don't make animal crossing need to be online or feel like some weird, half-baked, cozy MMO
Thank you! Mixing both would be character and atonomy for villagers with more design. Not leaning into online. Like higher friendship levels mean villagers are more likely to agree to plot and home changes. Simulated community and player community isn't the same thing. I think he knows most people would hate his idea so he tried to dress it up.
I'm hoping the next Animal Crossing brings back all of the features the older games had.
I like the idea of giving villagers "jobs" and like a dedicated area/stand/special furniture like in Pocket camp.
Like if the maximum is 10 villagers, 5 of them will be found at their special place, while others are free to roam so that there are still random interactions.
the future is scary, we all know that ok?. but animal crossing's future sounds as bright as the past was!!
they can absolutely do both by improving upon new horizons' faults. mainly the multiplayer, lack of shops and upgrades, events, good villager dialogue.
A good idea would be the birdwatching.
The birds would be a new type of collectible.
You make some good points & have a good idea for a future game. Maybe if certain characters have certain interests they could work at the same store or take over if a past villager chooses not to run it anymore. I guess I'm just thinking about how characters randomly take roles in Happy Home Designer & Happy Home Paradise at the different places near Happy Home's office along with the fact there's so many villagers that it might be hard going off certain individual characters.
I kind of still remember some ideas I had/got due to past games & when I still played Pocket Camp around the time New Horizons was announced & getting trailers. The idea was New Horizons adding an extra island you can travel to that's pretty much the city/main street from City Folk/New Leaf were you can help get the place running like in New Leaf were you eventually get the shops filled & Happy Home Designer were as time goes on while you become more well known for your work you're asked by Isabelle & Digby to help design/build the town the office is in.(I guess for more later game stuff you bring in resources to help out like I think in Happy Home Paradise) In addition while the new characters are still doing stuff like the fish/bug contests & the turnip selling the old special characters that don't show up unless you have amiibo cards could have businesses or areas you can visit them at so they're still there. Like Pelly, her sister(obviously night shift) & Pete(shows up occasionally there) working at a post office that either is for elsewhere, you could buy post office related stuff or could work as an extra ATM place & extra card/letter stand while you talk to them. Maybe see what Digby & Lyle are doing, Gracie running a mall, maybe have a train station were Porter is at were Katie & Kaitlin are visiting. Also the idea of Resetti & his brother running a mine area were you could get more rock based resources from & bring back Tortimer's island.
The shop on another island idea ended up happening by adding in the camper flea market to Harvey's island which while it adds a reason to visit is still a let down.
Adding on to your idea of villagers having shops with mini games maybe add in some places certain villagers with similar interests can work at that you can customize yourself(since the other buildings for special characters would have limited or no ability to customize them much), a few places like a park or public area to decorate & villagers visit.(You go to Happy Homes like in HHD & HHP to ask to redecorate it so you don't run into the issue of redecorating while villagers are on stuff)
10:23 Wait I actually love that idea. That would honestly be pretty awesome. You and your friends could orient your islands and whenever their online the gates to their land could open or something. Or people could give out keys or something. I would be super happy to have a more online play focused animal crossing game.
Aww I could be a good person for the interview
I want the villagers to be mean again. I don’t care if animal crossing is supposed to be a relaxing game. I want an arch enemy. I want to wake up every day and choose violence
I hope they strike a balance of keeping the sand box, but giving the villagers more autonomy, and still offer more community. Like you can move villager homes, but your friendship level affects the likelihood they will agree. Also maxing friendship means a villager will stay. So you can build your dream village, but the ones that move out aren't asking your permission. And let villagers catch bugs and fish too, or at least show off catches, so it doesn't feel like we're the only ones. Oh and villager yards are decorated by them, until your friendship reaches a certain level. Then you'd need max friendship to redesign their actual houses. And either let villager houses expand, or let us gift them expansions after max friendship. Okay that last one is because I want more room to decorate for my lovlies. Oh and a way to go on a vacation, I mean in real life leave the game behind or just not play for a bit. Maybe go to Tom Nook or Isabelle and sign up for house sitting services. Most importantly bring back the character of villagers. Okay I had more ideas then I thought, anyways something like this is what I'd like to see.😊
How about
Fossil dig-site
Mini cave for gems and ores
Either a larger scale mainstreet or a small city (maybe u could design houses for villagers who moved away, but are in the city)
More buildings to design that arent predetermined businesses, although some might be necessary
For more on the main town
A park zone
A farming area
Basically make it so we dont need to make these areas, but can decorate them, etc
i like the idea of a city. But we have to be realistic as nintendo console is not that powerful even if they release the next gen, the console power wil always be couple years behind. The current switch is even amazing on playing new horizon despite its old hardware, it still keeping up even thought your town is full of items and designs
I’m really hoping they consider making a multiplayers version me and my friend would love it
I love the effort gone into this video. Great job
That’s why i didn’t like this game because i wanted to be a villager
Your sister sounds just like you!
I think it'd be cool if they did something like smash ultimate where if has every track every character and some new characters tracks and a gimmick
I really like the name you chose for the games 😊
My guess is it's coming in 2026 but that's just because of a roomer
I think the next animal crossing game might come out on the 3rd year of the switch 2
I don’t see a video on left hand side of the screen at the end.
could you make a video of what if nintendo switch flopped
The good vids flop
You should do Sega shop
First pin me
Why would they do that 😂
@@s1ipp1d7 cause I was the first person
@@TarawnehKids They never do that though 💥
Pin 📍 meeeeee
Bro is not getting pinned.
