The Panasonic is louder because it has midrange speaker and the woofers itself is tune high..

Low frequencies need much more power than highs, thats the reason why this speaker gets this loud, but sounds like crap. There are worlds in between a jbl partybox 710 and this

I do not understand how these companies come up with these weird wattage ratings because even with my JBL 710s I know it says 800 W but they change the watt rating system something like 30 years ago because I had a techniques A - 750 system back in 1987 that I paid $1400 back then for which would be equivalent to $3800 today and it was an awesome system ,and that system had 150 W per channel and it is almost as loud as both of my JBL 710s so the way that all of the speaker companies rate their wattage is different than what they really are ? I love the way my 710s sound but I don’t actually think it’s a true 1600 watts for both speakers ? I’m sure there is a way they come up with that but I’m not sure what it is. I went into the studio to lay down keyboard tracks back in November for a friend of mine’s album on 1 song and they had a lot more sound equipment in there that would blow away my JBL 710s or the ultimate and the watt rating per speakers was not that high on them as The XBoom is claiming so something has changed so the main point is with The all these speaker companies claiming 2000 W in this case or ever the 1100 watts on the JBL for example that is definitely not the case I’m sure there’s a technicality and you yourself said the same thing that there’s no way this is 2000 W lol I was just curious how they come up with this? However another great comparison video as all your videos are that help is make an informed decision because I have seen both of the speakers in the store and they look very nice but I am skeptical of them and your videos definitely help clear the air on this because as you said loud dB do not always equal sound quality or deep bass I still think JBL has a better quality sound than these other speakers do for sure I just do not understand the watt rating system because that old system What I play my keyboards through is as loud as my JBL 710 but it’s is a totally different amp for a totally different sound quality I’m curious , I will be going into a different studio soon so I’m gonna talk to the sound engineer and actually see what they’re pushing because I’m curious lol.
