@@OfficeMystic Yes I did it after reset. Actually Reset helped! Now the workbook works better, however it did not increase the length of the scroll bar. I realize also that I cannot hide extra columns and cells because the scroll bars start acting out again 😂 and a lot of grey area is shown, it’s annoying! I tried limiting the area of the scroll bar but then did not let me use Ctrl+Shift+arrow, etc. I will keep trying with the scroll bar configuration. Thank you!
Having the same issue but normally I delete the empty rows/columns and resave. I can remove unnecessary columns but can't do it for rows for whatever reason (at least on this one file I'm working on)
Are you annoyed with small scroll bars when you don't have that much data? Here is how you reset the scroll bar and decrease the file size!
It did not work.
After carrying it out you'll have to save or exit and come back. Did it still not reset?

Thank you! This is a huge pet peeve, and I often forget that this is the quick fix. Saving the spreadsheet matters.
Ok bro, Thank You Very Much🙏🙏🙏😊
omg thanks!
it did not work for me
only VBA UsedRange works 100%
I managed to even break the one you prescribe as it failed to fix it on one of my workbooks. I have not found the solution@@jirist4196
You need to save the file after clearing the format, then it will reset.
Thanks
this only works for the horizontal one - my vertical one still is small when it doesn't need to be

Can you tell me how to do this on Google Sheets? 😢
This is a public service video. Tired of idiots sending me spreadsheets that are 100 megabytes in size but only has five cells of data
It's a pain trying to open a ginormous spreadsheet and then discover there are only a few rows!
Plot twist: There is a hidden tab that can unhidden only with VBA.
