I am currently building the 1/48 PF, same construction and parts more or less, in my kit I have the exhaust as a separate part, another is also included that I wont be using. Great build! Mine is going to be silver
Nice technique for the camouflage work . What i used to do for military equipment was to used masking tape , draw the pattern on the tape cut it with a X-ACTO knife and put the tape on the model and just paint over just like you’re doing
My fine tip paintbrushes are AK and MIG brands sizes 2/0, 3/0, and 5/0. The other larger brushes are cheaper brands from a local art store. My online shops are sprue brothers, megahobby, and eBay. Umm-usa also has some good materials. Let me know if there's a specific product I've used that you need the name of.
Nice build with super fine details.....congrats! Thanks for the beaut tips...painting and weathering the wheel bays before assembly, bending wire and the use of white glue towards the end. Will keep these in mind for future builds. BTW...Two things I really don't enjoy .... PE and rigging WW1 planes.
Thanks, glad you found it useful. I've never rigged more than a single antenna cable for the WWII planes but the WWI biplanes look like a test in patience
Hi I also bought that assembly box and saw that for the Russian brown camouflage he used three different colors to make that color. While on the montage box she uses a simple supercolor with a unique tint she therefore believes that the colors written on the mounting box on the narrated. Send a tip. Thanks
The Gunze brown color in the instructions will work fine. I do not have that color and did not want to buy more colors so I mixed it with colors I already owned
30g worked for me, but I don't know what the minimum would be. I think we're all too scared to get to the end of the build and realize we added too little. Wish they would have specified in the instructions.
Looks fantastic the mig 21 is something I want to build one day it’s a wicked looking plane. I’m the same as you with the landing gear I tend to make a stand and display in flight mode
This kit sucks. I'm building it right now. Panel lines are almost non-existent. Serious fit issues. I might save the parts for kit bashing. You made it into something respectable though. That's why you're a legend model builder.
Super well done paint work and weathering.

Designing the kit with a separate exhaust is a huge help. Best of luck on your build

@@ScaleModelAssassin No truer words.....rigging is a real cause for frustration but ultimately it's worth it in the end.
Great work. Thanks for sharing
Thank you!
Great job. And thank you 👍
👍👍👍

Thank you very much!
Very good model! Great!)
Thank you!
Great work!🤗
So are these Academy kit trees?
Thanks!
does anyone know how much nose weight you actually need in this?

@@ScaleModelAssassin yeah I also saw one that put 15 and said that worked but, it is just so shitty of eduard not to say how much you need.
What a great job, what attention to detail, and special thanks for the Russian plane
Thanks!! 👍👍👍

Thanks, I already want to build another one. The stand is a good solution.
Yeah, my least favourite part of the building process is also landing gear... Anyways, great job
haha thanks
whats your airbruah
Badger Sotar 20/20 with the "fine" 0.2mm needle
Nice
Thanks!
I would love to buy this kid, but already rebuilt, I don't have the skills, tools, and motivation to do this. Good job on it tho.
What particular PVA glue do you use?
Its Elmers brand PVA glue
@@ScaleModelAssassin Thank you, will try that.
Hey which airbrush did/do you use
Ive got 2 that I use: Iwata HP-CS and Badger Sotar 20/20
You asked people to comment on what part they dislike most. Canopies are the death of me.
Ah yes, its hard to correct any errors on the clear plastic. I always enjoy when theres a spare one included
your models are better than me
Thanks, just keep building and youll naturally improve
😅

Haha thank you, I'm honored by use of the word legend.
