Part 1: Metallic Polymer Clay Tiles & Tempered Glass Mosaic

Video 1 of a 4 part series showing how I create a mixed-media mosaic that includes handmade polymer clay metallic tiles, decorative papers, and tempered glass. This piece is meant to hang indoors (for exterior mosaic, you wouldn't want to use a wood substrate, nor water-soluble Weldbond.)
Included is info about handling raw clay, how to apply gold and silver leaf, cutting poly clay, baking poly clay, and several tools are featured. I learned this technique from Laurie Mika’s great book, Mixed-media Mosaics.

In 2019 I created this mini-class for an online teaching platform, but it didn't do very well. :-/ I guess most folks want to listen to and see the creator. I'm weirrrd; I actually prefer videos that focus on hands doing their wizardry. In any case, I'm not ABOUT to waste all of this info!
