I was 5 stacking earlier today and glad to see you copying my build for Trev. As the tank allowing your lane partner the ability to stack is so beneficial. In solo q I would recommend going carry Trev double stacking with either razor focus or weakness as third item
Since the buff, I have a 70% win rate on Rock Tomb / Stealth Rock Crustle with Buddy / Focus / Exp Share / Slow Smoke. As a full defender build (I am doing mostly duo / trio queue) i end up with 70-100k damage, often top in the game.
So Crustle is my vote for best defender.

I'm one of those weirdos who don't like stacking lmao. I know it's really boosts your performance but I guess I'm just not confident diving onto a enemy goal for stacks. That's why I prefer the non stacking items. I appreciate you giving me a build that allows me to support my team and still be a dominant force without the fear of dying multiple times trying to stack lol
Stacking is great but it can be a huge detriment to the team if done poorly.
I hate that it is possible to score when a member of the opposing team is standing on top of you smacking you nonstop. It seems like it should be easier to stop a low score than having 2 members from the opposing team perfectly alternating their attacks while standing right next to you.
Yeah like if you are stopped from scoring once you can’t start trying to score again for a second
I used to be the same way, but learning how to stack safely is fine if you aren't constantly inting for stacks, especially since the first stack and sometimes second and third stacks are basically free
I stack every game with clefable and we almost always fall behind early game but by the last raquaza battle I’m healing so much that we basically always win the team fights. The secret is just to not get discouraged if you die a time or two early game and fall behind the last battle is really all that matters in unite

Trevanent is my favorite defender in the game. I usually run buddy barrier, float stone, and energy amp which is surprisingly good. And despite me playing supportive with this Pokémon, it still destroys the enemy team with the wood hammer and horn leech combo. Lots of people don’t realize that support is necessary to win and since nobody wants to run a supporter or defender, the game gets ruined and my team gets stomped. Big fan of your videos by the way

I'm most definitely a pain split hammer tree believer. The healing is way too much to miss for me
My build is Razor, Atk Wt, Cookie. Slow, power, bulk. I do also use focus instead of razor for extra durability

I have to say, after playing some trevant last week in the free rotation, he feels like the strongest defender right now, the stuns are just too powerfull
I never was interested in trevanant. Got snorlax, slowbro and mamo intsead so didnt feel i needed another defender. The meta changes but mabyr i should get him. I dont know
Trev is the hero we all wanted but never deserved
Mimikyu is top 1 it counters Mewtwo x without unite and shadow sneak makes it hard to run away from and it heals itself
Trev full stack with Band is my go to Defender since he arrived. When your not only highest healing, dmg taken, and nearly out damaging Y....you are the MVP.
I’ve being having so much fun with Umbreon with mean look-snarl, full on attack speed with choice band and the crown that heals you with attacks

I don’t actually know what’s best, I just play that build for fun and I’ve being winning ranked games with this attacker style instead of the intended or better umbreon builds, I’m sure that there are guides from umbreon players that know better than me, plus I haven’t tested the wish/foul play but maybe if I go a minus attack medal set, I can go a more tank/support play style so that I can benefit from foul play. Just my point of view, go with what suits you better!

I liked wood hammer before the Buffs. Now I just play Dps Trevanant, and honestly, I do better cause the true damage is awesome

I don't think there's a "best" Defender, considering how diverse the meta is now. However, there are three top tier Defenders that I personally would want to have on my team. Those three being Slowbro, Trev and Umbreon, and an honorable mention to Crustle.
sad my main lapras isnt getting mention. i can literally turn the tides of a battle with lapras express i can just knocked them up then icebeam then my team finishes them off
@@NirYuZyLapras keeps getting hit with nerfs, so I don't really know if it's going to stay where it is. Definitely top five, though.
I think Goodra is the hands down best defender. I haven’t seen anything outlast it other than Lapras pre nerfs.

To be fair, anybody with hard cc can shut down a mimikyu. Which happens to be defenders and all-rounders. If your team has less cc or worse, no cc at all its gg.
Though Mimikyu is suprisingly tame compared to m2x, m2y, and pre nerfed zacian. Fun to play, and manageable to deal with at the same time.
Trevenant is probably the best defender due to the amount of dmg he does (I personally think it is absurd), though it’s not the defender I like the most. Goodra and Lapras are two lovable silly buddies I like, and Umbreon is pretty good too.

In my opinion Blastoise is the best but I do want to get Trevenant and try him out because he looks like a pokemon I would like because of his battle style. I usually use pokemon who have a move that can push the opposing pokemon away, like Duraladon dragon tail and Decidueye leaf storm or to push towards the pokemon like blastoise surf and possibly Trevanent horn leach. But i am trying to get better with pokemon that don't have those types of moves.

Hey spragels, people are getting account bans for text chat violation. Many of my friends have got 5 year account ban, after contacting with unite support they denied helping us. Even I got 700 hours text chat ban, apparently after 700 hours if u violate any rules then account will be banned for 5 years. Unite devs not really doing anything for patch but making such senseless rules. L unite devs.
