I have to agree with you….even though you made this comment 14 years ago! I also still remember the first time I heard D & C. I nearly pissed myself with laughing! I can still remember many of the ‘sketches’ that they did….and sometimes, when I meet up with my mate Frank, who ‘introduced’ me to Derek and Clive 40 odd years ago, we do the Alfie Noakes sketch! Pure Brilliance and on our part, Total Indulgence!
@SuzLa1 It is very funny. It's stuff like the IT crowd that isn't funny. Broad, tacky, old-fasioned sitcoms with laughter tracks. Just awful. Peter Cook was immense.
No matter how many times I watch it, it's still funny. "He looked so fucking vulnerable".
When Dudley says 'the make up was fantastic' I nearly chocked with laughing so much.
I need a soundbite from 13 seconds in "didn't arf give me the 'orn that".
Pete & Dud's lyric's to Beethoven's "Moonlight Sonata" are hilarious... " Oh f*cking Oh....I've got the horn......."
Legends
We'll never get this kind of comedy again

Sadly-missed and we won't see their like again...
Everything gives these two the horn. I often wonder if the horn gives them the horn🤔
Gives me the right horn.....
F@@king an underage door reference could be seen today as a reference to the Jimmy Savile case.

He's got a fucking stalk on him.

These two were far cleverer and much funnier than this shit would have you believe.
