We definitely are! Check out the clips of last prototype at 9:35 and the 3D printed plug, it says "Accessory Clamp Space" so you guys can pop them out and have room for your bedrail clamps.
I got a 2024 ZR2 about 3 weeks ago, and would be interested in some of this stuff. I think for the molle panels, you should make sure that they clear the little shelves there that are for 2x8's (it looks like - haven't measured them) so you can haul sheets of plywood. And, honestly, you could use those shelves to support your panel as long as there was still enough shelf left for the 2x8's.
The engineering team can't commit to a release date on these panels yet, at least until parts are in production, we always try to leave time for revisions and iteration. That being said, these are VERY close and a first production run usually takes 6-8wks to finalize. Hope that's helpful!
On the driver side at 9:42 are those rubber stoppers? Definitely curious about the third mounting spot. I assume the vacuum mount you mentioned wouldn’t work on textured bedliner? I don’t mind having to drill another hole though if that is an option.
Good eye! They are the rubber bumpers we currently use in our full size GM bedside MOLLE kits for this fourth mounting/bracing point. The smaller vacuum cup did work well on our truck, but like you mentioned, those would only function properly on a painted surface and we know many of you guys run spay-in liners, bedrugs, etc. Either vacuum cup solution would be overkill and more of a hassle than we're looking for, so they ended up not being our top choice for a few reasons. After adjusting the depth at which the panels sit within the bedsides, we are confident relying on the bumpers to keep the bottom of the panel sprung against the bed wall. They already do the job perfectly in a few of our kits, they'll work great here too!
The panels will work with a spray-in bedliner, we ended up deciding that we will not use the suction vacuum cups for this design. After adjusting the mounting blocks depth and where the panels sit within the bedsides, we are confident relying on our bumpers or a high strength magnet to keep the bottom of the panel sprung against the bed wall. These bumpers already do this perfectly in a few of our GM Bedside MOLLE Kits, so they'll work great here too - and Matt is currently experimenting with the magnet solution!
The clearance from the backside of the panels to the bedside ranges from 3/4" - 2". Unless ARB has some new really low profile compressors, you will not be able to fit one back there unfortunately. We actually do our best to minimize that space between the bedsides and our panels, simply so the panels don't stick out past the bed rails and intrude on your usable bed space/gear mounting space. But we DO see folks mounting ARB compressors on the front face of our panels all the time!
Id 100% be down with a panel only on the top row (like first row ablve the outlet) so i can still put a 2x4 in the slot for the bed divider. But im waiting for these over the 4x4 version bc i dont want to drill
@@BuiltRightIndI see the full panels on the website now, but I think what travisjames915 is referring to would just go across the top without dropping down behind the wheel well, like one of the other brands (starts with a p). I agree, because I use the rear slot to keep fuel cans and other things close to the tailgate.
@@rwassom73Totally understand - we have an attachment coming that will basically act as a slot on the panels for folks who want to keep a 2x in place like you mention. Probably 6wks out or so. 👍
Wow for real? I was about to buy this for my 24 canyon Denali and it wouldn’t matter if it came at a premium for me, a truck that’s designed to do the work AND look good. But do you really expect me to buy your panels when you couldn’t even bother to take the time to add the meat to help it look better? What a shitty attitude, I’m washing my hands of that ignorant mindset. You didn’t put 100%
I want to design a camper and some other stuff for my 2024 ZR2, what's the chance of me getting or buying the scan data so I can import it into Creo? (I've been doing Mechanical Design for 41 years, 27 of that on Creo).

I looked into buying one capable of doing objects that big, but a good one was like $10k! Thanks for the reply, and I'll keep checking in for things I might want for my ZR2.

When finalizing your design, please consider space for the clamps when people have a camper shell added on the top of the truck bed.

How big will the gap between the bed wall and the back side of the panel? Was looking at mounting an ARB compressor between the two
