Jade: This is just an idea. Maybe you could take the cardboard piece and bend it to fit the curve of the shoe. Altering the fabric pattern will probably be the hardest part. I'd start with taking the measurements and drawing the pattern like Akameru did in the video. The polymer clay sole would need to be shaped like the cardboard piece. I'd bake that then add clay to it make a heel however thick you want. Do an image search for "converse heels" for some inspiration.

BJD = Ball-Jointed Doll I believe. But this method will work for any flat footed doll. The average Barbie wouldn't work since she stands on her tiptoes (unless Barbies have changed in the past 14 years).

What do you do if the dolls foot isn't flat? I have a monster high doll that I'm redoing and I don't really want to give her high heels.
