With all the chaos in the world right now watching Summer Wine soothes the soul. Thank you for sharing . Put a smile on my face which is badly needed. ❤
It is Kosha.
We watched these shows every week, and I still love British comedy.
Just loved Barry and Glenda... plus her mum when she was trying to drive the car down the road when going out for the day. 😅😊🎉❤❤
I have been watching this series a good long time, while on PBS. I enjoy all British shows, partly for the beautiful scenery. So glad to find these jewels again!
I absolutely love this cast, at this period of the series. So many old friends from old sitcoms.
Loved Last of The Summer Wine
What a great series! Story, writers,actors,country side😊
Love Howard being shoved off the road. Huge smiles!
Love this show. Was really sad when it was no longer on our local station. Really glad to find it here.
I love the way Marina touches her hair !
I love these guy’s, hilarious.
one of the best series on tv,gentle humour no one hurt
I don't know why, but Nora Batty saying "...if they made it that far..." must be the line that hit me the most in all this pearl of a series...nothing to do with some war, far from it, it's just Nora Batty uttering those words...Nora Batty, her timing, her accent, her face, no one else, and the few seconds that followed...thank the Gods for the invention of Kleenex® /--D
In one episode Nora Batty told one of the guys, You're seconds away from a bad experience!!!! Priceless..... I love these people. They call each other Muffin so often that I named one of my cats Muffin.
You are spot on, certain things stay in your memories for ever.
Very cute the dog taking over house but coming out like a mummy miss these actors all gone
I miss Wally Batty and Compo so much. RIP all my loves.👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏❤❤❤❤
I miss the 90's when TV was great like this.
R.I.P - Robert Fyfe
RIP June whitfield who sadly passed away in December 2018
VERY PRETTY LADY !........AND VERY CLASSY😁♥️
Wonderful series to watch. Compo made me laugh and clegg. Both laying to rest near each other. . Tom compos sun is nice as well. Medina and her short skirts cycling along to her rondeviwe with her love.hahaha. don't make them like that now?!!
Kind to a few Americans, hahaha! Another howler! Love it!
I miss Stephen Lewis, RIP.
He had to go to a wedding. Sorry to hear that.😂😂😂😂😂👍
Too bad the cops didn't have a show of their own. Very funny duo! :)
Nope, small doses is best :)
hey mark... the BBC was going to give them their own show when this one ended. I don't know if they did or not because I live in the USA. if you look hard, you might find it. good luck. if you do find it, let me know.
Sadly Mark it didn't get off the ground.. no financial backing... :(
Would be a bit boring. All they do is take naps and sit eating and avoiding doing any work.
- So a good portrayal of modern UK policing.
R.I.P Josphine Tewson 1931-2022
Jolly good show.........
They are big children
Would have made a great show aunty awinright vs Mr arkwright from the show open all hours
The batty woman made an appearance on open all hours.
I never tire of watching these. Just escapism i guess.
I always watched these, and now especially in the era of Drumph I REALLY have to have the escape!
@rats arsed ABSOLUTELY! Lol
@JRRnotTolkien ?
@JRRnotTolkien You are right. Only Men Hating!!!
Ho Howard. You are hawful 😮😂😅❤❤🎉🎉
Usually when you say something is CUTE, you are damning with faint praise, but this show is cute. By which I mean you weren't necessarily rolling on the floor laughing for 29 minutes, but it sure was fun to watch. I have seen several episodes over the years, and I agree this series was at its high point during the "Compo years" (his funeral provided laughs that I feel rival the infamous Chuckles the Clown funeral episode on The Mary Tyler Moore show) but these "middle years" episodes are nearly as good.
I never saw this episode before, and as usual: an unexpected ending.
In the UK "cute" has a meaning more like shrewd.
I like Last of the Summer wine but it wasn't in existence when I lived in England from 70-74.
they are all great actors but the ones with the man who plays compo is good
That would have been Bill Owen. He was marvelous.
Nora must've left her hats to Meghan and her mother hahaha, dreadful!
excellent series
“Not me dog! I live here!” 19:21 classic
I wished i was stationed in the uk during my usaf career.
Another howler hahahahaha!
One trying to sell something to the other
what the heck...? Capt. peacock and Elizabeth? Has the world gone mad? Oh, i see... they're drunk. What would hyacinth say?
@JRRnotTolkien She got tipsy in another one too drinking the Dowager Lady Ursula's gooseberry wine. She'd bought it at an estate auction. Richard had quite a time to get her in the car.
You had to have lived there to know ......Yorkshire..God's country.
Anyone know the name of the ID Bumper in the beginning?
What are those exercise called at the beginning of the show ?
😃😃😃😃😃😃🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻
I don't believe in wrapping up a dog like a mummy.
What is the name of the episode where she bought a junk yard?
Lot number 8
Actually, I think it was "Once In A Moonlit Junkyard." Compo takes the others to the junkyard so he can meet up with his old flame Babs, and Auntie comes out with a shotgun!
benny hills angels
Greg Duffus something about these old brick * Mulberry Keeping Up Appearances Last of the Summer Wine just steal my heart away
Yes it all started with Benny Hill and then the Red Green Show and took off bringing us hours and hours of laughter will never forget
I THINK MIRENA LIVES NEXT DOOR 2ME!!
Huh? The actress or the character? Giggling...
I think his real name is bill Owen

Sleep o
Mrs Richards: "I paid for a room with a view!"
Basil: (pointing to the lovely view) "That is Torquay, Madam."
Mrs Richards: "It's not good enough!"
Basil: "May I ask what you were expecting to see out of a Torquay hotel bedroom window? Sydney Opera House, perhaps? the Hanging Gardens of Babylon? Herds of wildebeest sweeping majestically past?..."
Mrs Richards: "Don't be silly! I expect to be able to see the sea!"
Basil: "You can see the sea, it's over there between the land and the sky."
Mrs Richards: "I'm not satisfied. But I shall stay. But I expect a reduction."
Basil: "Why?! Because Krakatoa's not erupting at the moment ?"
This show is terrible but I love the countryside and how neat and clean they keep their village the script makes no sense at all.
Get an adult to explain it to you.
This was dumb.
Who the hell asked for your opinion anyway????
That's what makes the show. It's show about nothing. Regular people and their daily interactions. Like sienfield
