      @Taurus-k2x i share your sentiment, but is ty really not as good as people think? He hasn't shown that elite greatness with the time he's been given. But is that by design? Alabama will look like a completely different team next year, and when you're taking up a mantle as monumental as being the successor to the goat, you MUST play 4-D chess. My bet is ty takes the spot until keelon is molded unless keelon is just that much a better fit. I feel like deboer has spent all year grooming ty with a completely different gameplay in mind. Time will tell

      I hate all the hate Kalen Deboar is getting, and the hate Milroe is getting Ik he didn't play the best but he still had a great attitude every game day and he tried his best to find a way to win. 9-4 for a first season SEC coach is very good he is the 3rd or 4th Bama coach to do that good on their first season. Also Milroe did so well last season and I think his decline had something to do with coaching change

      Exactly

    • @HawgWyldFishing
      @HawgWyldFishing 8 дней назад +4

      @@Ezzybammernot just the coaching change. It was more to do with the other guys around him. People seem to forget that Bama had 30+ players hit the transfer portal alone, and then the players who declared for the draft on top of that, and unlike all of the other teams, Bama didn’t have an opportunity to use the transfer portal to their advantage, because the actual portal window was closed, except for the few teams who had coaching change. The players for teams who had a change in their head coach were allowed to enter the portal. So the players on those teams were the only ones his staff was even able to use. Which was basically just Michigan, Washington, and Alabama, when he got the job, and it was only a 5 or 7 day window, from the day the last coach announced their departures which was 2 fewer days in DeBoers case, that he was able to use to replace those 30 guys. And he did what he could, bringing in guys like Mack & Brailsford from Washington, as well as a guy like Sabb from Michigan. But we only had a total of 11 guys added from the portal in the end, and over 30 left. Everyone just wants to look at the final result of a single play and assume that it has to be the fault of the QB, regardless of whether it’s a good play or a bad play. They don’t know enough about the game of football to understand what the hell they are looking at during a play, to know why the play actually went the way that it did. A QB can have a great impact on any game, for the better or, for the worse. But I don’t care how good any QB is, no QB can make up for the guys around them doing their job poorly. And that’s what happened to the offense this season. 3 of our starting 5 offensive linemen were inconsistent as all get out. Brailsford and Booker were the only guys you could depend on. The rest of those guys would go from having a good game one week, to playing like week old dog water the next. For example, teams typically use QB run, because it provides the offense with an extra blocker, than what a defense can deal with, and allows the ball carrier(QB), to basically always only have 1 man to beat, as long as the blockers all put a hat on a hat. Yet, somehow we were repeatedly seeing multiple people coming unblocked to tackle Jalen at or behind the line of scrimmage. That’s with an extra blocker in the advantage of the offense. Still having multiple unblocked guys. If you’re devoting an additional player to blocking in a run set, and still having multiple guys unblocked, how well do you think that is going to fare, when you try to have your QB drop back to pass, in a standard pass protection set? Horribly. It’s going to go horribly. And that’s exactly what we saw in those games. In the games our o linemen showed up, we ran through teams like an unstoppable force. In the games they didn’t, we looked like a middle school team for the deaf, dumb and, blind, trying to play against the best varsity high school team of all time, regardless of who our opponent actually was. It wasn’t the QBs fault. He was the only chance the team had of being able to make it work, in those circumstances.

      Saban talked about these type of people...they're like the guys sitting in their mom and Dad's basement by themselves in their underwear bitching and complaining not even realizing they don't know shit about the actual game of football...just clueless miserable people. Most of them. The others are just miserable in general negative about every aspect of their life. Its pathetic. They should just pull for Auburn or Georgia cause it's embarrassing as a BAMA fan to read some of the bs. When KD and the boys are kicking everybody's ass next year they need to climb under a rock somewhere and keep their mouth shut. RMFT!

    Deboer NEEDS to step up this coming season!!! Record of 9-4 at Bama NEVER cuts it. I understand it was his first year. But the way Bama finished last season was very embarrassing and frustrating. I'll never understand why he kept Milroe in the game after multiple turnovers deep in your own territory. Deboer SHOULD HAVE pulled Milroe by mid-season. Deboer NEEDS to put his big boy pants on, and if a player is not performing on the field, replace him for the betterment of the team. I fully blame Deboer and Milroe for the Michigan loss. The coaching was horrible, and the qb play was horrible, too. Yet, Deboer NEVER puts in Ty Simpson to see if it could create a spark. Michigan knew that Milroe was a sorry qb, and they took advantage of it.

      Well he is the coach and I think that you have to learn and adapt to the Sec he felt obligated to Milroe especially when he was being talked about for the Heisman trophy. I do believe that he will change how he handles the players going forward and he will take charge he relizes how much money he is being paid and he will not have players telling him what to do anymore. Milroe helped keep some of the players from leaving which world have caused more losses than they had and he will have a quarterback he wants to run his type of offense and a better running game. He knows the expectations from here on.
