It could be tip drying therefore there is a blockage in the front of the nozzle not allowing the needle to seat properly and allowing paint to release. The other thing is that there could be a split in the nozzle , check out this video which may help 👉🏻 ruclips.net/video/inZcoxkuylk/видео.html
I love the IS975 but it’s pricey, another great iwata compressor is the IS875S you can also take a look at SprayGunners ‘no name’ branded compressors , I believe they are good 🤔 in regards to airbrushes the iwata eclipse is great and I also love the PS.289 (the one used in this video) you can check it out here (affiliate link) 👉🏻 spraygunner.com/gsi-creos-mr-airbrush-procon-boy-ps-289-0-3mm-platinum/?aff=9
AB paint needs to be thinned a lot so your coverage won't be like painting with a brush. Highly recommend a coloured primer, may want to look at a wood sealer if you want smooth finish as porous materials tend to "fuzz"

I use a variety of sizes but most commonly 0.3mm for general airbrushing and 0.18mm for detailing 👍🏻

Those pesky transparents are a nightmare for flat tone, I always add a drop of white or too to help out :) great bud dude
If I want to focus primarily on black and white portraits would you recommend opaque?
Is there any advantage in going top-to-bottom (or left-to-right, for that matter) versus bottom-to-top?
What psi do you recommend using? 🤔
When I started airbrushing I used a child's colouring book to practice
Hello, when you use the airbrush you cannot cross-apply? or can you only do horizontal and vertical?
