Why prophet Muhammad had 12 wives? Very simple answer. He followed old laws of Torah where didn't give any restriction on getting married. Check history of surah Nissa regarding fourth marriage was revealed on 4th hijri. Prophet married his last wife on 3rd hijri.
He accomplished his all marriages within 627 or 628 CE but entire surah Nisa was revealed on 630 CE. Probably the verse on getting married was not revealed.

The thing is back then, women were considered sold items. They were not valued and treated equally like nowadays. Imagine yourself as a woman without any husband. How can you get your food and income while people take advantage of you? The proof is that Jahiliah once killed their daughter to make sure she will not receive the bad treatment from the society. Why prophet Muhammad had 12 wives? Very simple answer. He followed old laws of Torah where didn't give any restriction on getting married. Check history of surah Nissa regarding fourth marriage was revealed on 4th hijri. Prophet married his last wife on 3rd hijri.
He accomplished his all marriages within 627 or 628 CE but entire surah Nisa was revealed on 630 CE.

But no one has the answer to how did A'isha r.a. give her consent at the age of 6. The prophet's marriage with A'isha was fixed when she was 6 years old. How can a 6 year old girl give her consent for marriage? The prefrontal cortex of the brain never develops so quickly.
Moreover why did the prophet have intercourse when she was only 9, she had just entered into puberty right? Marriage for alliance doesn't justify intercourse.
The age gap was also too big.
Would you be ready to fix your 6 year old daughter's marriage to a righteous and trustworthy 50+ year old man, knowing that he would have intercourse with her when she would enter puberty?

I'm a revert and from an online Islamic course I learnt that the prophet ﷺ had many wives at once because the verse limiting the number to 4 hadn't been revealed to him yet... And that after it was revealed he didn't marry any more. Is there any truth to this?
The thing is back then, women were considered sold items. They were not valued and treated equally like nowadays. Imagine yourself as a woman without any husband. How can you get your food and income while people take advantage of you? The proof is that Jahiliah once killed their daughter to make sure she will not receive the bad treatment from the society. To overcome this issue, the Prophet encourages us to get married. The men shall protect the women. That is the ultimate goal. He saved his wives and took care of them fairly.
There is nothing in Islam that doesn't make sense, everything has a wisdom behind it. Indeed, the religion of truth

But no one has the answer to how did A'isha r.a. give her consent at the age of 6. The prophet's marriage with A'isha was fixed when she was 6 years old. How can a 6 year old girl give her consent for marriage? The prefrontal cortex of the brain never develops so quickly.
Moreover why did the prophet have intercourse when she was only 9, she had just entered into puberty right? Marriage for alliance doesn't justify intercourse.
The age gap was also too big.
Would you be ready to fix your 6 year old daughter's marriage to a righteous and trustworthy 50+ year old man, knowing that he would have intercourse with her when she would enter puberty?
And let's not forget that the prophet was not any Tom, Dick or Harry. He was the epitome of righteousness right??
The prophet could have married her later right, or atleast delayed sex right?
Also was this the only option available for Allah too? Since it's Allah who wills, why didn't Allah will something better?

And We have bequeathed a man to be kind to his parents and take care of them, especially the mother, because the mother carries him in her womb, and her weakness increases as the child grows; and she weans him from the breast only after two years. We commanded: "Thank Me and your parents: everyone will return to Me for calculation and retribution!"
أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ
بِسْمِ ٱللَّٰهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
وَوَصَّيۡنَا الۡاِنۡسٰنَ بِوَالِدَيۡهِۚ حَمَلَتۡهُ اُمُّهٗ وَهۡنًا عَلٰى وَهۡنٍ وَّفِصٰلُهٗ فِىۡ عَامَيۡنِ اَنِ اشۡكُرۡ لِىۡ وَلِـوَالِدَيۡكَؕ اِلَىَّ الۡمَصِيۡرُ ١٤
And We have enjoined upon man [care] for his parents. His mother carried him, [increasing her] in weakness upon weakness, and his weaning is in two years. Be grateful to Me and to your parents; to Me is the [final] destination.

There seems to be some problems in the above translation . like weaning only after 2 years.
SURAH/ CHAPTER AL IMRAN 54 Allah SWT said.. WALLAHU KHAIRUL MAKIRINN. ( I am The Best Deceiver) in English Translation put in wrong meaning, Planner or plotter,,
With all due respect, 'Makirinn' means planner. I speak the language, I know that much.
@@masoodalbloushi7029 in Arabic dictionary, MAKIRIN means deceiver NOT Planner.
@@titikkoma8586 lets say for argument sake that it means deciever. Cause we use it in communication as planner.
You would still require to know the concept of that verse than just translate one word for it and use it to make arguments like " OK Allah is the deciever so He decieves people".

Venogopala most of sayings ( Hadiths) of Prophet are narrated by Our Mother Aisha..That is the biggest source about the private life of Prophet Muhammad and guidelines provided by him in day to day life. Had her marriage not been executed with Prophet peace be upon him at that young age, the islamic world would have been deprived of the delicate domestic and marital issues confronted by them in their day to day lives. Because it is Aisha who lived for a longer time after the demise of Prophet peace be upon him and the later Muslims learned and took sayings(hadiths) of prophet from her....
