Catching my Xbox Impersonator on Xbox. Ever wondered why so many gamertags exist as "sacrament?" Are they followers or simply players who want sacrament in their gamertags? Can't speak for all of them but I received a message from a gamertag that was impersonating me. Apparently, my punishment is that this individual is gonna go around Xbox, impersonating me.
He also threatened to dox me and ban me but we'll get to that later. So he threatened to impersonate me on Xbox. My idea was that I pose as a fan and get this guy by surprise. I created an account that had nothing to do with my original name, sacramentolove. I started messaging him, posing as a fan. I will admit that it was hard getting to talk to the Xbox Impersonator because he doesn't talk much. Maybe he's shy or simply isn't very socially interactive. Over the course of the month, he thought I was a random fanboy. But I got tired of waiting 24 hours for a response everyday so I broke it off to him.
I sent him a message from that "fan account," admitting to being sacramentolove. As I expected, he started talking a lot more. But by then, there was no point in interacting with the Xbox Impersonator, so I blocked him and started editing. He threatened to dox me and ban me from Xbox. Doxing is not necessarily illegal unless it leads to things like harassment, defamation, or intimidation. Doxing almost always leads to these things, which is why it gets brought up in court a lot. The Xbox Impersonator was very angry. Not sure why.

Coming from someone who has also lost a sibling(two actually). All I can say Sacramento is you handled that comment about your sister a thousand times better than I would've. It might depend on the person, but everybody has their line in the proverbial sand that if somebody crosses it, the situation goes from heated and you trying to prove a point, to way too personal to take back. Impersonating someone online may be one thing, but it is a completely different case for somebody to be confronted and in response they have the gall to say "your sister deserved to die, and I hope you do too"

You don’t choose those numbers at the end of the tag lol Xbox does, you either have an original tag which is hard to make sometimes or you have a cloned tag and the # is how many other people tried that name. It’s a stupid system honestly and I think they got the idea from discord
