Rocinante was the name of Don Quixote's horse. Holden was calling himself out for his habit of tilting at windmills.
Not only that, but the first episode is named "Dulcinea" after Don Quixote's so-called princess
It was his favorite book as a child. His mom said they brought him up to be a knight and then gave him a war he could not win (protecting their farm). The lifeboat they took off of the Canterbury to check out the distress call was called the “Knight”
So sad for Ashford ,he was a great character.
Such a well written character, really grows on you.

I really hated his death. It felt so cheap and tacked on at the end of the season, like the writers threw him in there just so they could have someone die. His death wasn’t a climax or anything, it just kinda happened. I guess maybe something like that happened in the books which I haven’t read, but there were probably ways to go about it.

You won’t regret it. The greatest sci-fi show of all time in my opinion.
Burn Gorman (possibly the sexiest and best actor in my opinion) is in the fifth season.

It's one of my favorite shows, but sadly in my opinion the first 3 episodes are doing a poor job of capturing your attention and are some of the weakest episodes of the entire show. If you're unsure watch at least until episode 4. It's gets only better from there and each season so far has been better than all previous seasons

The intro and episode 1 suggests that is not for long
In Season 4 there’s a shot of the Rocinante orbiting Earth over North America. You can tell by the lack of city night lights that Florida through much of Louisiana is basically underwater, so they got that right!
The Expanse Books are my favorite book series after ASOIAF, and now it has a good chance of becoming my favorite TV series as well!

I was never into reading before, but after watching the Expanse and hearing it's based on a book series I had to check it out. I ended up reading the whole series in a couple of weeks, it's that good.

This is such a great show that when they were just airing season 3, and the news came out about it being cancelled and all the fan outcry was in the middle of saving the show and getting amazon to pick it up, I got so obsessed with the show that I had to have more and ended up reading the WHOLE book series, all 8 600 page books before season 4 was finally released on amazon... NO other show has had that effect on me. SUCH Ana amazing show and SUCH a great series of novels. I can’t fucking WAIT for the final 9th book to come out October 2021... CANT... FUCKING... WAIT!!!
I really don’t know how they’re going to pull off the final arc of books 7-9 on the series. Those who’ve read the books know what I’m talking about.
The show runners said that they will probably end it with season 6 (which will be based on book 6), but that they won’t be going anywhere (whatever that means). I think that they might be hoping for a short spin-off series.
I’m so glad you are staring to cover this show! It deserves so much more notice than it gets. Your coverage gives it a gravitas that will help it get even more viewers. .

This series is amazing! I've always been a scifi fan, read all the books a few times over, and I love what the cast and crew have accomplished and how well they've brought the novels to life. It was beyond all expectations and I can't wait for the final season! I also wanted to say how much I enjoyed Nadine Nicole's performance as Clarissa Mao, she has really done an amazing job at arguably one of the toughest roles and I can't wait to see more Amos & Peaches scenes!
This is the only show I've ever watched where I hope the main plot gets stretched out for more character stories and arcs.

My ex was one of the people who previewed the whole first season and gave feedback. She said the first episode was so confusing nobody understood it and they cleaned it up. I think some of her comments were why they brought her back to watch the entire season.
