Congratulations for this very useful video to know how to do it. But I still have a little trouble understanding the respective roles and whether aliases and CRRM integration are complementary or meet different needs. Example : We want a decision-maker contact for a case to give us more information to send him a quote. We have a form including service choices and quantities. How to proceed in this case?
Hi Mixxit, If I am understanding your question correctly.. the best way to think of forms is when you want to collect external data (non users) and further have it entered into the CRM for internal users to then manipulate. I hope this helps, and if not please join our office hours.
This is great! One question: The link works great for us internally if we're logged in as a registered user. However, when we copy/paste and send this link to anyone outside our organization they are getting an error message. It appears the link isn't publicly available. Have you ran into any issues like this?
Hi Eli, If you are using the public link this should not be a problem. You must make sure that the form is published, and that your using the public link found here: help.zoho.com/portal/en/kb/forms/user-guide/sharing-forms/articles/sharing-a-form-publicly#Sharing_a_link If your still having problem, feel free to join our office hours and we can walk through it. meet.zoho.com/wvhPOwD8P8
From our understanding, this cannot be easily configured in Zoho Survey. The way we think about these apps for Zoho is that Survey is the simplest, Creator is the most complex, and Forms is a great middle ground. For that reason, we primarily use Zoho Forms.
Hi Jose, I am pretty sure this is because you are using a non "Published" or shareable link and trying to open it from outside of the Zoho Instance. Make sure to add all of these aliases to a shareable link.
Love this video. Helped me understand field alias and I was able to complete a task at my job.

Can this be done on a Zoho Survey?

I am having a HTTP Status 400 - Bad Request why?
Hi Jose,

Why would you do this instead of creating a survey?
doing a survey will mush up your bi data
@@SupremeAse what is bi-data?
By survey, do you mean Zoho Survey? If so, we prefer Zoho Forms because it offer more functionality and better integration with the CRM.
