- In this video, I address my experience as a card collector as a kid. After taking about 20 years off from the hobby, I now find myself sucked back in. Welcome back brother! Honestly I wouldn't grade unless you really think it's almost perfect, a 9 is pretty much a regular raw card, so 10s are what you want. Awesome Brady and Brees, good luck on your pulls. Have a great day brother.

Same thing happened to me, only I started in the mid-70's, so it was 40+ years for me. I started back recently, and have been filming the box rips. Lots of fun, and I enjoy your channel.
Personally, I like my cards raw, but that doesn’t stop me from buying graded cards either....if you don’t intend on selling the brady or Brees keep it as is....but if those “gem out” you’ll make a few bucks
That is solid advice. I do want to ensure that Brees is protected as it is in great condition, so I may send that one in at some point. No intentions of selling either at this time still. Thanks for watching!

Collected a bit almost 30 years ago and got back into it about a year ago with my kids. We have just started our channel to share our journey. I have a similar story. Collected heavy from about 2007 -2011. All Football and basketball and cards of my alma matre, Houston Cougars. Spent a ton of money opening wax. Then marriage and kids got in the way and here I am 10 yrs later. Went down a card rabbit hole on found your channel. Subscibed.

My background is similar to yours in the sense that I was a big-time collector back in the day, and then left for some time. I've been back in the hobby for about five or six years now and it's been fun watching other people's experience through their RUclips channels, as well as starting one of my own just recently. A good buddy of mine got me to buy the grading tool from online and a 20x magnifying loupe to check for grading status. tpa companies use 7x magnifying so if you see it with 20x then you know not to sell it. I’ll make a video with the items in a hour or so so you can see what to use

This thing was my entire life as a kid! It is called the ProGard Pro-Index Card Storage System. I've looked for about 10 minutes and cannot find one for sale online 😂
