@@zinnmarx I have a paragraph each of a morning and an evening prayer saved in the notes of my phone. Consistency not intensity is key. It’s better to pray a paragraph then only do a half hour of prayer every 2-3 days etc. make your prayer goals realistic and attainable

I fell into Orthodoxy and became an unofficial cell attendant to the abbot of a local monastery. The strictest spiritual fathers can from the outside appear tough but they are the most loving and have a great sense of humor
My 9 year old very strongly feels he wants to be a monk, and his desire has grown. We plan on building a relationship with a couple monasteries and growing in our cooperation with those monasteries ❤
It is modern opinion that very young children should be used to have reactions with adults, that adults are very important for their state of mind. That could be the root for their caracter. They never feel satisfied when noone is there to react.
The sad thing about all of this is that usa spread with purpose this movements all around the world. We will mad about that but what we can do. Roman empire 😮
