Substance abusers and alcoholics either have to pull themselves back from the brink which shows taking responsibility. Or they have to wake up in a pool of their own vomit to realize something's wrong...and maybe, they'll get help.
Everyone seems to be worried about Ben lapsing... everyone except Ben. If he were that worried, he'd check himself into rehab. Why go to his ex-wife and expose his kids to this?
