First off, I want to say how much I like and was instantly impressed with Justin Townes Earle ! My last vid, I show 40 records with the highlight being 6 GP records that my Tower records buddy traded with me ! Too bad about your RSD Gram Parsons release. ☹️
It was definitely a bummer about that GP album being warped. But what are you going to do. I saw that video of yours. Guess I should have commented. Anyway Thanks for watching.
@cheapcheerfulrecordcollect8071 Alright Jon.. Hope the arrangement goes well with negotiating for that collection. For me, this is the way to go. To meet people who want to sell their records. My friend Ted is one ! I'm going back for that Attila record !
Hi Jonathan hope you had a good time over here in England & pleased you found some lps to take home with you. I'm a big fan of the late Eva Cassidy 2 great songs she covered are Stings Fields of gold and some where over the Rainbow all the best from Rob in England 🇬🇧.
Glad to see that you got Yuma. I just got the Newberry Comics reissue so I passed on the 45rpm. Sorry to hear about Gram Parsons being warped, I've seen it in stores since RSD so maybe you can still find one. Merry Christmas Jonathan!
Hi Jonathan, Welcome back! I hope you had an excellent trip! Sounds like some of these press factories need some quality control! That John Lee Hooker looks amazing. I have a Blues Project album recorded at Cafe Au Go Go and remember you saying you'd been to shows there in your younger days. I only have a double CD compilation of Grant Green. Amazing guitarist. I know that version of "96 Tears" by Garland Jeffreys, and it's good. ✌
Sorry you got a warped Gram Parsons, mine wasn’t warped but it seemed pretty dirty for a brand new record, cleaned up nicely though. My Bluegrass Heart is a fantastic record so you will be happy with that one. Great Fairport Convention album as well, at least I’m assuming, haven’t been able to find one yet.
I did enjoy all your pictures from the UK. That is one of my favorite places to visit. I agree with bands not putting anything on the cover. I also get bugged when the label does not have any info including side a or side b. That is so stupid. Too bad about that Van Zandt album. One of mine had a defect in it so it was clicking in a quieter section. Pretty sad
Picked up the Justin Townes Earle album, great record as you say.Pity about your Gram Parsons record but I believe it a "RSD first" release which means it will probably get a future release
Jamie Cullum.. " Singin' In The Rain" " Wind Cries Mary".. excellent ! 🤤

Nothing wrong with CD’s. Great haul. Can’t go wrong with Hooker, Mingus, Green, and JTE. Happy Holidays!
I’m starting to warm up to CDs yet again. Thanks for watching and Happy Holidays to you and yours.
Congratulations with this Cd of Janis Joplin
I am also a long time big fan of Janis who is my favorite artist and I never saw it.
I’m old enough and lucky enough to have seen her three times. She was a force of nature on stage. Gone way too soon.

She covers Imagine on this album. Have a couple by her. Fine time in London and one rainy day in The Cotswolds.
@@cheapcheerfulrecordcollect8071 The Cotswold is a lovely place to visit.
Hi Jonathan
your so right about the price of new records! Crazy expensive! Thumbs up! Trish
Yes it’s getting out of control. Thanks for watching

Thanks for watching. I’ll definitely keep an eye out for that Gram Parsons. Glad I got that Yuma too, it’s pretty great.

Yea, trip was fine. Frustrated about that Gram Parsons but what are you going to do. Thanks for watching
@@cheapcheerfulrecordcollect8071 Big shoutout for you Jonathan in my response to the latest Chris Propfe thread! Have a good weekend my friend!

Quality control ain’t a thing no more.
Nice pick ups. Unfortunately almost all the new vinyl i buy has some sort of warp to them. It’s sad.

I hope so. If not… so it goes.
That John Lee Hooker looks great.
It is, but it’s not the Boogie John Lee Hooker. More down home and slower.
