I really think that Mcfarlane's Toys were way ahead of its time, with the amazing, highly detailed and breathtaking sculpts. There are Toy companies out there today that still haven't been able to reach the same level Mcfarlane's Toys have. Even this figure that is a decade or two old are better than the figures you get from other toy makers. I can't wait to see what Mcfarlane's Toys come up with once they reboot their Toy lines. I'm sure they will be highly detailed and better yet very articulate. Keep up the great work with your reviews, they are so enjoyable to see, spot.
This is a nicely detailed, sculpted and painted Spawn Mutations figure. McFarlane Toys have crafted an amazing collectible. This isn't a typical design for Spawn, which makes it all the more unique and interesting. In fact, this design for Spawn wouldn't be out of a place in a Doom video game. However, it's unfortunate that the articulation is limited, which makes it difficult for the figure to stand up. Otherwise, thanks as always Spot. I really appreciate the hard work. Keep it up!
Such a cool mutation of Spawn. A very nice divert take on how things would be if Malbolgia hadn't been killed. A very nice head sculpt with gaping ferocious mouth and sharp teeth and familiar green eyes and a slick red tongue. The detail on his skin is amazing. The protruding bones and scales is very Doomsday like or the ones on the back remind me of Godzilla. The limited articulation is a let down therefore making it more statuesque. It is still a site to behold and looks great. Thanks again Spot!
Cool .I too was hit-and-miss after the 3rd wave ,back in the day.I saw the beginning of this post and said that its almost like goin back in time, then,he would,nt stand so well, and i was like yes!,its just like the 90,s.I still love McFarlane figs.
He also has a guiarmo del toro (sorry for the spelling) vibe. A lot of this characters (-the fawn, the thin man from pans labyrinth) look like they were carved from stone and left out in the rain. Things like the raised swirls on this spawns shoulders give that same effect
I love this and wanted it since I was in high school. I just recently found it on ebay for a good price. He's so cool that McFarlane should've put him in the comic book.
This is last I own of McFarland,I use to own p1 & p2 but outta three this still my all fav still questioning sell him or not he's just so unique I've had him for years now sculpt is ahead of its time one things got me his line other comics spawn just too badass.

Have one still in the original packaging they are one of a kind I don't care about articulation they did their homework for back then and very collectible especially still in the box cool
PS I have the whole collection untouched and original packaging bought collection years ago just looking at it now again finding out well it may be worth something I even have spawn wings of redemption I heard that one was the rarest of all to find let alone in the packaging it comes with pretty cool man

My uncle had that spawn figure for almost a decade locked in a box, and then gave it to me, but the paint is really chipped, but I still LOVE IT!

Man this brings back so much nostalgia
The head sculpt looks like of the alien
I had this figure! I'm going to get him again. I was a kid back then and you sometimes lose your action figures especially as a kid.
Awesome figure I have a spawn figure with his weapon and also got clown from a friend
I’ve had that figure for about 15 years and I’ve never had a problem trying to get him to stand lol
Wow! Those amazingly green eyes and another first-rate review! ☺️
