Without giving away too much the trailer manages to gets you pumped up for the potential Magnum opus Cinematic Experience that #nagashwin has cooked.
In this video I'll be doing a complete breakdown of the Trailer and find some hidden details that you may or may not have noticed
Kalki 2898 AD (2024)
In 2898 AD, the desertified city of Kasi is now the only city known to exist, ruled by a totalitarian elite, led by Supreme Yaskin, from a hovering inverted-pyramidal-megastructure above the city known as the "Complex". Set against the backdrop of Indian mythology and a dystopian society, the story chronicles the journey spanning millennia, from the events of the Mahabharata in the year 3102 BC, the beginning of Kali Yuga, to 2898 AD. The core of the narrative revolves around the enigmatic figure of Kalki, the tenth and final avatar of the Hindu deity, Vishnu.

6:31 but the story i have red is like after the defeat of duryodhana in hands of bheema. Duryodhana was entirely paralysed and Ashwathamma along with kripi and kritavarma together met duryodhana and pledged that they will kill all the pandavas. And then ashwathamma gained a dagger from lord shiva through a yagna and kills the sons of pandavas. Here he does not seek revenge just for his fathers death but also his friend's (duryodhana )
This incident occurs after the war ends while dronas death occurs before the death of duryodhana. After dronas death, ashwathamma fights deadly than before but the massacre of upapandavas, brahmastra scene comes after duryodhanas death just to avenge his death

This movie is 1st part of storyline and most probably only Ashwatthama is revealed in this movie among 7 chiranjeevis
Also Madhav in trailer means Krishna(Vishnu) .... In Mahabharat battle, He/She promised to return back in the end of Kali yuga(present era) as Kalki Avatar
Also there are so much details like Ashwathama's body size, Sum-80 name, water disaster mention from scriptures, still not showing Kali in physical form(Kamal hasan is not Kali) etc etc

I have something interesting to share - Kali/Yashkin might be creating clones of all the Vishnu Avatars.
The reason I'm predicting this because there's a comic named - 'Project Kalki' in which there's an Archaeologist in 1847 he founds remain of Ayodhya's Ram temple destroyed by Aurangzeb and after digging deep under the temple he finds Shri Ram's Bow along with Shri Ram's Blood/DNA.
Just after that suddenly Kali appears infront of him and forcefully takes those things and reaches out to a doctor in a different year where the doctor gets popularised for creating clones. Kali brainwashes the doctor and she helps Kali to create a clone of Shri Ram with the help of that DNA/Blood sample.

great explanation, just wanted to add the scene at 4:49 shows an elephant and gadda, which explains the death of Aswathama the elephant by Bheem's gadda, which is a main scene from mahabharata... also the dead elephant scene at 4:41 is trying to show both the Ashwathamas (elephant & dronacharya's son) in one frame to depict the confusion. Maybe the person in white dress is yudhisthir trying to answer guru drona about the death of ashwathama.
