- A nice day hunt on public land, using the dog to find deer bush stalking. Nukes 2.5 years old , and still in training, but hes pretty handy. #deerdog #BGID #Trainingdogs #NZ #Nature #Viszla #Headinddog #Reddeer #Tongariro #Stag #Tracking #Hunting #NZhunting
Cool to hear all the kaka sounds around.
@@BennyThompson556 yea there is plenty around, and Kiwis early in the morning
Good work keep it up just wondering what calibre are you using?
@@crestcutter2729 Thanks mate, I use a 7mm08, picking the best projectile for the job is most important I find, I think the same for any caliber 👍
@@NZDeerandDogs ah I thought it was a 243 I hunt with a 243 for fallow and 30.06 for sambar here in Oz both guns I use winchester deer season xp they seem to be doing the job pretty well it mite be worth a look as they are not too expensive and knock everything over ive hit with them
Wicked vid 🤙
What a great dog you have there, well done that was a fantastic hunt.
Thank you for sharing.👌👍
@@richardt.4224 Thanks mate🙏, I’m glad you liked it .
Wow cool hunt! I love the footage of Nuke winding and your video either cross hairs! Awesome! Great spotting…. Those deer look hard to see. That’s my biggest problem….. dog finds them but it takes me ages to see them. Great effort! 👍👍👍
@@darrellwong4097 Thanks Darrell. It’s so hard to see them, even with them being so close, when it doesn’t go right it’s probably more to do with my spotting than Nuke having it wrong. With out the dog I would never be able to be camera ready, so it’s all him.
Still awesome filming and hunting! 👍
Mean video again mate. Love watching that dog work. Might have to start training my trusty Lab to see if she's any good. Or maybe she might need a new mate ;)
I've had my guy indicate, wait, move, then repeat over an hour or so a few times. Turns out he was following deer browsing on the move!
Yea mate, that definitely happens from time to time, that’s probably why Nuke whinged at me, he wanted me to hurry up and catch up to the deer 🦌
Primo vid mate
That was cool bro, I love that scope camera. Might need to get me one. Does it add much to overall length of scope?
Thanks bro, it adds about a inch, you don’t really notice it while shooting, but it weighs half a kilo, so you feel it in your arms by the end of the day
@@deertrackernz2203 I agree… great perspective on the hunt!
@@NZDeerandDogs yea I notice my camera I put on top of scope, and that probably only weighs 200 grams haha.
Har yes,another great hunt,you 2 do really well,enjoyed that,thank you,fred
@@jackhammer4720 Thanks Fred, happy that you enjoyed it 👍
Nice work team. Mint vid. Cheers. 🍻😎
@@warwickgibbs6303 Thanks mate, I’ll keep them coming
nice bro
mind sharing the shotkam model with us? good footage!
@@huntingforadventure9977 It’s a Triggercam 2.1 it’s a lot of work lugging it around on the gun, but the footage makes it worth it
Nice work!

Bit a buck fever on those hinds bro
@@JoelRobinson-p3o Yea bro, I always shake, didn’t really notice it till I started filming, now with the extra weight of the camera on the gun it’s probably worse, how do I ever hit anything 😅
