Upon further inspection, I just checked largest market by box office revenue. There is a Wikipedia article on it. It says "US & Canada" was $9.07 billion in 2023 (not sure what is the value for the US alone), while China was $7.71 billion. These numbers are a bit different than what is in the video. However, the other countries look about right. Japan was $1.5 billion in 2023, India was $1.48 billion.
I didn't notice that the new channel intro is a reference to the three popular mini series: Countries scaled by, Mars and Stealth

I had to look up number of movies produced by China as your number sounds suspiciously low. Even a Google search says China produced 971 films in 2023. Anyway, I think total tickets sold is the fairest metric. #1 is India. Prices in countries like India and Nigeria are obviously going to be much lower than in developed countries, where everything is more expensive. Nominal prices are basically useless measures. Everyone knows you have to take purchasing power parity into account.

Tickets prices depends on state and the theater itself for example I'm from US but I'm also from SD so and theater I go to tickets for adults is like 7$
It's depends on region too. local inflation is something. From where I am in India. There are about 8-12 theaters in my region. It's costed be me less than $1 for Oppenheimer.
