There is alleged division between the NewJeans parents, but the members' goal is t work with Min Heejin eventually... This whole situation to me just reinforces that companies should not be debuting minors.
Yeah, I never want to see this ever again. I know not all situations turn out like this, but the industry is too harsh for children. This is insanity.
I’d also add that trainees shouldn’t be stuck in the company training all the time. They need actual interactions outside of training 12 hours a day

Either Haerin or Hyein parents probably wants their child to reconsider just like Keena. Once the courts rule in favour of ADOR, then maybe one or two might start to behave in a more rational way.
Hyein is born in 2008, so she's a minor and her parents are legally responsible for her. Seems like there is a fracture in old pants.
The stupidity is unbelievable. They forget that they signed those contracts with their parents present, and before you make a big decision like taking 20yr - 16 year olds, you must speak to their parents - that's what someone who cares for you does. Btw I think I will just go ahead and sue them - but then ADOR is a business, I am just me.
When they signed their initial contract, all of them were minors. It's only logical that the parents is the key here too

It's crazy how NJ said in that statement that they think the RUclipsrs posting negative videos is due to Hybe's backing! Absolutely no logic to how they came to that conclusion. It's like they think everybody loves them. If not, they must be Hybe's paid stooges! I really want them to push that narrative in court. If i were the judge, I'd immediately order a separate mental health screening for each of them to assess their 1) ability to rationalize logically ; 2) mental stability in terms of paranoia (as they are revealing signs that anyone who opposes them are in a conspiracy) ; 3) signs of being groomed in a cult.

Actually the Old Fifty Fifty did something similar to this in 2023, they were on the verge of being the next big KPOP group for Cupid but they told lies, and tried to play the victim card. For awhile, people believed them, until Attrakt provided evidence and then the public turned on Fifty Fifty.

The members of Fifty Fifty were abused - one could have died as she needed that OP.
But the abuser was not Attract - their label - but the managment company the Givers who tried to sell them to Warner Music Korea - who are getting sued by Attrakt.
Keena noticed the Dispatch article that showed how her copyright was reduced and she and her father began to ask questions and to notice the manipulation/lies they had been served by The Givers. She tried to make the other girls see what really was going on but they refused having been manipulated too bad.
Keena went back to her label while asking for forgiveness for a reason.

I'm serious, the mental health of this young girls need to be studied ASAP. It's insane the obsession that they have with MHJ. Anyone can look up the DSM-5 and ICM. Korea follows these global guidelines, indicators and criteria. The indicators for abuser and abused are pretty clear even if you google it for informational purposes. It’s also my understanding that the guardian ad litem system is in place in Korea. For the youngest member. HYBE could request this. This could be a serious blow to the MHJ Nj side. HYBE could ask for a psychological evaluation especially if the ad litem had concerns. I think Min is asking for this strategy. She is the one paying and therefore the lawyers do what she says - even if it is unethically but she is the client not the girls so the girls interest are not the lawyers concern in the first place.

New jeans being upset that ADOR allegedly met with their parents "behind their backs" is so strange for multiple reasons. It shows how estranged they have become from their own families to basically make it seem like a bad thing for their parents to contact the company, even though most trainees and young idols could only wish that the company would include their families more. I don't know why they're running away from such a simple solution. I believed they got scared because of the injonction Ador filed and they are only NOW starting to take the law seriously. It's Ador's fault for debuting minors, they don't have the mental capacities to think about their future. Cause this case won't solve anytime soon and the girls will be met with the reality of the legal system, which is often stressful and disheartening. And how are they going to keep their clients confidentiality secure if their lawyers work in the same building/company network? In my eyes, it's inevitable that Min Hee Jin and the New Jeans members are going to have to clash at some point to fight their own best interests. That would put the law firm in a difficult position and potentially harm their own image and could possibly leave them open to being sued for conflict of interest. Am I missing something here?

We saw the screenshots from the Dispatch article where it was clear MHJ knew about that first RUclips video and she referred to that person as father as in one of the NJ’s member’s father. So it’s long been known that the member’s parents are providing info to Dispatch or Hybe.
1:19 they won't say it with so many words, but they are essentially holding the member who is thinking about jumping ship hostage. They are setting up the idea that if someone leaves it is the fault of Hybe and Parents. That they have been conspiracy and forcing the the defector to act they way they are acting. Essentially they are already trying to manipulate the public into thinking that anyone who flips is not doing so because they want to, which means they can further paint Hybe as starting more mess, the parents of the defector can be presented as caring about the money over their child's wellbeing, claiming that Hybe are trying to buy compliance. but most importantly they are setting up a clear "they were forced to say that, it's not really true" for when/if this potential defector speaks out about them and what is going on behind the scenes. And all of the girls are aware of this which in theory keeps them loyal to the cause as the other 4 would turn on them and discredit them which would hurt their reputation even more in the eyes of the fans. They need to convince each other that the price of flipping hurts the flipper more than the members left behind.
Basically unless the girl who want's to flip and their parents have massive receipts and a sob story about how badly MHJ or even the other girls were treating them behind the scenes they shouldn't flip. They are making it as hard as possible for someone to leave, because they know if someone does leave and were able to hang the other's out to dry without an easy way to flip it on Hybe and the Parents, well let's just say a sit down interview with the member who went back to Hybe, now that would be a PR disaster. And they would lose a lot of credibility, and in retaliation, if it were going badly enough for NJ, another member might also leave. This would be particularly bad for Hanni and Danielle who have been so vocal in their anti Hybe and Pro MHJ retoric that they have no chance at going back. Minji might be able to flip if she has receipts and she doesn't go alone, but my money would be on Haerin the silent in this mess or Hyein the minor, who is so young she can't be held accountable for her actions (at least in the eyes of many.)

It's unclear, but NewJeans said the injunction is rapidly progressing. Injunctions are meant to be expedited, so hopefully soon.
@CapitalVictims injunctions tend to get expedited as they're meant from causing further harm and confusion. But what should matter to them are the actual court dates and those still don't seem to be set.

Tbh I’m getting really tired of all this drama, the proportion that it’s taking it’s just crazy. I used to be super obsessed with them but all this situation is making me loose this shine I have for them. I don’t mean the fact that they are trying hard to be independent artist bc of their ex-company keeps driving them back, and to be honest it’s understandable why they are doing that, imagine you invest so much on something that actually works and them they just abandon you. There's the injunction and this will take time before anything comes out, the girls will most likely be told their contracts are still valid and in effect. Then they'll be barred from performing and shelved for the next 5 years. The only question left is whether Ador will seek damages for NJ actions. If they decide to do so the girls will fade into anonymity poor instead of rich, but at this point no one will remember them except diehard bunnies.
I understand why you want to put the blame on MHJ, less risky, but frankly the girls are adults now except Hyein, there's no excuse, they should know better.

I really love NewJeans and the members. They are very well-mannered, funny and caring to people, they even fed the staff of Na PD's show, right? But I don't know what to do about this. With the way they handled this issue, I've seen people who agree that they come off as bratty. The way they allegedly cling to MHJ more than their parents also puts me on edge thinking about betraying their parents. I love their music but I don't know if I should support them or not. Because I'm surely not supporting HYBE either
It's a misconception that anyone who doesn't lockstep agree with Min Heejin's narrative is supporting HYBE. I have tokki moots and friends in real life and we have followed this from day one. Not all agree but most do see that what Min Heejin is saying is not entirely true, and things are more nuanced than toxic bunnies would like to pretend it is.
If I felt like this would lead to better outcomes for them I probably would have ended up on the other side of things. But all I see this doing is putting them in debt, getting their families sued, and sullying their reputations. If more fans held them accountable instead of enabling everything they do this could have turned out WAY differently
@ I think the choices are support NewJeans (and therefore - MHJ), support HYBE or neither. Also, I've noticed in most disagreements whether it be my disagreements with other people or other people having issues with other people. Both sides always have actions that were wrong. I also agree that if the "audience", fans, Bunnies especially were using critical thinking for a bit instead of blindly supporting and disregarding the "red flags". Maybe this would've been handled more smoothly and proper
