Rishis who created dhrupad style of singing must have felt closer to the divinity within and have blessed world by giving this divine way to connect to supreme bliss... beyond words.
Wow. Amazing Raag Kamboji & poetry of Raskhan. I don't think Divine & Meditative are the words to appreciate this. This is Riyaaz of 20 generations of 500 years.
LES FRÈRES DAGAR, LES MEILLEURS ! Je les aime, ils me subjuguent depuis que je les ai entendus pour la 1 ère fois (il y a 40 ans...) À écouter en boucle.
I can't thank you enough for uploading this video... such a treat to see Dagar Bandhu and hear their beautiful rendition. It also reminds me of a recording I used to have of Ustad Rahim Fahimuddin Dagar. I will find it and upload soon. Regards.
They are Ustad Nasir Zahiruddin Dagar and Ustad Nasir Faiyazuddin Dagar popularly known as junior Dagar Brothers who carried fwd their family legacy of Dagarvani dhrupad of 500 years....they are Uncle n Father to Ustad Faiyaz Wasifuddin Dagar who is presently carrying fwd the tradition.....
Soumik Ghosh - Fariduddin Dagar is Zia Mohiuddin Dagar sahab's brother.... probably he is the one you're asking about... Aminuddin Dagar sahab used to perform with elder brother MoiNuddin Dagar sahab as a Vocal Duo... later solo

Divine, just close your eyes n feel it rather than listening. Also listen to PT. Mallikarjun Mansoor, though he is not exponent of Dhrupad but you can feel connection
kambhoji. these brothers were pioneers in the use of phrases like 'roooeeeen nooooeeen'; which had hitherto never been heard in the dhrupad dhamal firmament.
I enjoyed an instrumental (q5trNs7M3MU) & that's amazing. I thought Indian classical music is mainly instrumental but this one is really enjoyable. Thanks (Thu 13 Jan 2022 19h20)
If you study Indian classical music you will find that vocal is the BASIS of all music. The instruments try to replicate the vocal. Of course instrumentalists developed their own schools/styles.
@@indetif839 Thank you. I didn't know it but now I know that vocal is the basis, etc. Though didn't enjoy that much but I tried some vocals, as well. (Mon 24 July 2023 19h02)
Can anyone explain me what is the purpose of dhrupad as there are no words in it. What we can get from classical music Or Sometimes it is better to feel music ...
Yep that is Pandit Gopal Das of The Nana Panse School. This is famous for being soft and fast. Generally Pakhawaj can be heroic especially in in the Kaudau Singh style. His Pinki finger got injured around 1992 when he was in a Delhi bus which is the reason for his bandage. The Pinki is crucial in pronouncing the ‘Tha’ sound on Pakhawaj.

@ivarhakuse8572 I'm in Chicago. Would you be willing to share your contact information? I'd love to discuss the repertoire you learned from Pandit Ji.
is complete recording of Kamboji available? Can it be made available ?
plz. Check South Indian singers. As Kambhoji is primarily a Karnatic raaga.
Ye kya hai dagar ? Public ko achha lagta hai ? Apne aapko lagta hai ? Gaane bajane ki tameej hona chahiye.
