    I just want to say there are other things.
    For one: gel keeps your hormone levels from causing sudden mode changes, it doesn't cause your hormones to spike violently while injections do. So a lot of people start off with gel until at a certain level of testosterone in them to switch to injection without worry about major hormone spikes and such.

    • @gnotknormal
      @gnotknormal 2 года назад +5

      I'd like to add here that my experience of gel is very much that you can have spikes. Daily spikes. I've been told now to apply my gel twice a day. I was on 3 pumps but I was getting a huge spike, and then my body was converting back to oestrogen leaving my groggy and moody. It was basically daily PMT. I guess my body just processes t gel really well or I dunno. I'm looking at moving to nebido but I'm worried my body will just go crazy with converting it since it seems to keen on doing it with gel.

    • @AlexLukeC
      @AlexLukeC 9 лет назад +1

      +klein bondoc What you can use and how you go about getting it depends on where you are. If you're in the UK then you can use Sustanon injections (roughly every 4 weeks and can be self injected), Nebido injections (roughly every 12 weeks but can't be self injected), or gel (daily). You would need to see your GP to ask them to refer you to a Gender Identity Clinic, who will recommend your GP prescribes you testosterone. It can take between 4 months and 4 years to get an appointment at a GIC because of the waiting lists, depending on which one you go to, and then at least 6 months for them to be willing to recommend it. Alternatively you can pay to go private, which is quicker, but this is more expensive.
