    #1 you need to blow them up with air a few times to stretch the balloon Before you fill it. That helps to round it and make the balloon last. #2 you need to twist the stem of the balloon tightly before you tie it. Use the balloon tape that comes with the balloons to secure the LED lights. I ran the lights through the stems first from the bottom and put the stems and lighting together first for every and all the balloons you plan to use per table centerpiece. I then completely stretched the balloons at the seams all the way around the balloon and the stem. You have to fill them slowly, let the air out, and repeat a few times. Then slowly fill with air or helium and tie it off. Be careful that the end from the LED lights do not poke the balloon. Make sure to follow the seams when running the lights utilizing the balloon tape. Some battery compartments can be loose, you can secure them with clear scotch tape. I placed the battery compartments in small sandwich bags and stuffed them in mason jars filled with sand that were lined with tissue paper first for weight and stand. I made a bunch of these for my grandkids to carry around at BLINK Cincinnati Oct. 13th, 2022! I made them a week ahead of time. without issue. They all still have them in their rooms, I still have the one I saved for me standing up in my bedroom. None have lost air or shape and that was over 4 months ago. I could've made a fortune if I'd have done a booth selling these. Everywhere we went people were asking about them. I think it comes down to properly stretching them out FIRST before final fill and weighing them down. Along with keeping them out of the sun. We all know what the sun does to plastic pool floats, it weakens the plastic and loosens the seams. The Bobo balloons also add extra balloons in the box, if you're careful you get more balloons than what you pay for. Hope all this helps.

    Great vid! I’ve learned with the bubble balloons you have to blow them up, deflate them, stretch/pull the balloon (don’t be afraid to pull hard, it will not tear) and blow them back up. It will have a nice round shape after that. Also, use a 260q balloon to wrap around the base several times and tie it. Hope this helps👍🏾

    Thank you again for another great video! I love how transparent you are with lessons learned! I use these balloons but not with the lights. I stretch my balloon all around, inflate with air, release the air and stretch again and then inflate to full size. If the balloon isn’t a round shape it usually means I haven’t stretched it enough.. Once inflated I twist the balloon holding onto the tail and then I wrap a 260q multiple times (tightly) around the tail and knot it. The bobo bubbles and deco bubbles are great so maybe it was the brand you used?? I also use clear balloons (Qualatex) when I know the event is indoors in an air conditioned space. Because I live in a tropical climate, clear balloons oxidise (even the Crystal mattes) and go cloudy and don’t look very nice.

    Girl thanks for this video I just got booked for a glow in the dark party and I was abouttt to offer my client LED balloons as an up charge but thank god I didn’t! Lol as for shaping those clear balloons they’re all the same, you have to very slowly and carefully stretch out the corners all around and it’ll be so beautifully round. I’ve used these for centerpieces before just not with led lights.

    Thanks for the video but we use them all the time. You have to prestretch the day before. If you tire it with a 260 and wrap it about three times it will stay. We used regular air pump. We also use flower foam to hold them in place. Just cover the base.

    Thanks so much for sharing. My heart goes out to you as we all have those disasters that compromise our integrity and professionalism. I avoid those clever, cheaply made Chinese products. Stick with the ones made by and sold by a reputable, well known company. It is so very frustrating when clients see things on Pinterest or Etsy that they want for their event and you know in your gut that it is going to be a problem because they are cheaply made. Again, thanks so much for sharing your war story.

  • @doloresleyva8810
    @doloresleyva8810 Год назад

    Been there done that .. learned the hard way.. lol The BoBos are tricky. The balloon needs to be stretched out manually in all directions like you are wrestling with them many times . Lol.. Then they fill with air very full not just to the seams but tight at the seams where you may think it will pop but it won't. Then the lights stay on much better. The end of these balloons seals off on its own but if the ones purchased do not them low temp hot glue to the rescue will get the balloon sealed and it can then be twisted then placed on the holder going into the opening of the "straw" they will stay put and will not deflate. And yes a more sturdy base is needed definitely. The lights will stay on as long as they are very well against the balloon and twisted and tucked into that center "straw". These are very delightful creations especially during Christmas time. Keep them in mind and don't throw in the towel just yet.
