Видеоклипы
After all these years, I still think this group of men made the best Gold City Quartet ever.
Best Ever
I love em all, Tim Riley is an awesome bass as well
Still the best lineup for Gold City!
It's amazing that after not singing together for 20 years how their harmonies came right back together like they'd never been apart!
I grew up on this music. I enjoy listening when I am missing my parents, who have gone on to be with the Lord. Brings a smile to my face!!!!
I miss this group. They came to my Church back in the early 90's and Gold City Brings so much joy to your heart when they sing.
These are the men that introduced me to Gold City. In my opinion these were the best ever.
Love this group especially Ivan Parker.❤️
Midnight Cry was written by me and my husband Shawn Sullivan in 1993. Ivan Parker always gave us credit for its writing.
You picked the perfect man to sing that song. I was born and raised a Catholic and had recently been saved, and I had just been introduced to gospel singing. I was on my way to work when I first heard Midnight Cry, but the dj never mentioned who sang the song. After hearing the song several times, I finally found out it was Gold City. I had never heard of Gold City before, but I knew I had to find the record or tape with the song on it. I subsequently found a cassette tape of Gold City with that song on it, and I played that song over and over again for several months every chance I got.
That song is one of my favorite gospel songs, and Ivan Parker has been one of my favorite gospel singers ever since the first time I heard it. I can’t imagine anyone else singing the song better than Ivan.
Thanks so much for the song and introducing me to Ivan Parker. God bless you.
Ummm why are you on here lying?
Midnight cry was written by Chuck and Greg Day. Two brothers.
Wasn't written by you and your husband lol😂
Tim Riley is the bass singer that attracted me to Gold City so many years ago. This line up of singer tugs at my heart. Gold City has brought many hearts to Jesus when scripture did not do so.m
This group of gentlemen have blessed so many hearts! Could we even count them? Known this group since 1990, and they have all been faithful to our Savior. God Bless you guys, still love hearing you❤️❤️❤️
This is the Gold City that I listened to back in the late 80's to mid 90.'s.....working in a hospital laboratory, doing the lab work and listening to their great voices, together and separately, they cannot be beat!!!!! It made for an easier shift!!
I love Brian Free! What a tenor!
They sure don't make 'em like this anymore! Some of the very best! :)
Music made in heaven, God bless Gold City.
First time I ever heard " When I Get Carried Away" I instantly thought of my husband. He loved Jesus so much, but he was very quiet, shy, didn't talk a lot. He had a hard time expressing himself every time he tried to testify, & would just start crying. I knew the day would come when he could finally say & show it all. When God took him home one of my first thoughts was about this song.
What a blessing it is to hear this lineup of the gold city quartet. It was this group that caused me to fall in love with quartet singing alongside the singing rambos. What impeccable harmonies and immaculate stage presence. Such feeling of love with all the performers on this stage. Must have had a blast singing together after all that time apart.
Best ever Gold City lineup
I know you never said you got it for a long time but it's been a long while most of the time when you get through okay also pay for David Johnson and Rosanna Johnson everyone in the family was at us Robbie Hagberg
So true ❤
Totally agree
I love this genre of music. I grew up listening to this group and many others thanks to my dad who’s now passed on. Every time I listen to this music I feel extremely close to him. This music is a blessing. Can’t get enough of it.
Hard beat Tim Riley on Bass. He just shakes the building.
Philip Holcomb of The Inspirations also has a very deep powerful bass voice. Them, Gold City, The Perrys, and The Kingsmen are great gospel groups.
Brian Free is AMAZING
Great group , need to still be together. Love these singers! Especially Brien Free and Ivan Parker!!!
Brian Free's voice is just awesome, still after all these years.
So often, I wished these guys would get back together. They have such wonderful harmony and love for each other - it shows. Fantastic servants.
One of my favorite groups ever. I love the times we got to be together in concert, or just going to hear them.
I've liked Gold City, for a long time!!!!!!! I grew up on,gospel music!!!!! It's great music!!!!!!!!!!!!
Brian Free, the BEST tenor Ever!!!!!!
In the 80s and early 90s Gold City was the BEST out there and I admire Tim Riley for holding it together after that
In the late 80's I went to several of their concerts in NC and they were so inspirational to my spiritual life. Will always have a soft spot in my heart for them!
Dec 2023, and still one of the best ending low notes for when o get carried away. Crispy notes by tim, even at this age
They were all spiritual rock stars to me!! God bless them all!!!
This was the Gold City lineup when I discovered Southern Gospel they had a solid unique sound and great songs
Now that's a quartet with talent beyond measure! Brian adds so much to any group with his exuberance and voice!
Would you believe it? Brian Free is the most awarded Tenor Singer in all of Southern Gospel Music! He's truly got a God-Given Tenor voice.
He's great!
I love to hear this group. Ivan Parker is great
Brian Free is my favorite tenor singer. God bless him!
They came to our little Church in Savannah, Ga with this lineup and as a child I became a fan of Southern Gospel quartet music. I truly believe that they are much better together than they are separately. They would have rivaled the Cathedrals if they had remained together. Love each of these guys.
I Love this Song!❤️
Awesome done no better than that right there !
This was the best Southern Gospel group with these four members for the ages. I’d put them up against any other combination of singers and guarantee they would outperform any other group!
They blessed me then and they let me know the song is god-given thank you for singing get! God bless you!
Brings back many joyful memories!
This never fails to lift me through any trouble. I dare you not to be blessed mightily!!!
Thankful for this group and all who have been in it over the years. Your music has provided motivation, reflection, comfort and strength every time I've put it on. Words cannot express my appreciation for your message and your craftsmanship in providing the messages in your music.
God bless each and every one of you!
My favorite song ever.

.... la mejor formación de Gold City : )
Brian Free is so solid, it is so satisfying to the ear and elevates the grand chords!!!!
Absolutely awesome lineup! I saw them a few times and not just their talents, but their personalities and behavior were above commendable. They just naturally seemed to gel like closest friends. This lineup of Gold City and the Singing Americans with Ed Hill, Dwayne Burke, Mike English and Rick Stricklin are my absolute favorite quartets.
Ivan Parker is the best of this group
They were the best
Ivan Parker was in this group.first time I see them together. Beautiful song though and they're pretty good singers I must say.
Brian Free's tone is gold...I think he's really a countertenor,so high up
This lineup:.4 golden voices.
I saw this group twice, and I have their autographs! That took a little while to get them!
Best line up of Gold City!
Remarkable!!!
Praise God
The best ever!

I truly love quartet music
But yes, this is truly the best gospel group of all time!
I'm gonna get carried away when I get carried away. When I see Jesus .
LOVE When I Get Carried Away

I would agree with all of the comments posted!!!
The best group ever
Crazy how Brian Free looks like our Speaker of the house 😂
La mejor formación de Gold city : )
Pretty good line up right there.
He sounds like B-25 in low idle. And that’s meant to be a compliment !
Midnight Cry
Ye ye Glory
When I Get Carried Away was written by Ivan Parker's brother Mark Catenzero in 1983.
no it wasn't. It was written by Phil Cross. What's wrong with you?
Jay Parrack
No one can sing Midnight Cry like Ivan Parker.
This song is brought to you by Wilkins Pure Water
This is the only way Midnight Cry should be done.
Anybody know what was going on with the microphones? or was there an issue with the ear pieces? They all sound just fine to me.
This bunch is good but so was the group Tim Riley Jay Patrick Johnathan Wilburn and Mark Tramell
the best
Not sure but sounds like someone is off a little on that second song
wish they didnt have to change guys - this is gold city to me - not the new group i hear on the radio now
Beautimus
LEAN LA PALABRA Y APEGUENCE A ELLA EL MISMO ESPIRITU LE GIIA ATODA VERDAD
Ivan holds his mic so low
Are they doing concerts together now????
I'm confused. Doesn't God use all kinds of singers to speak to his children???
