Guys, no word is useless to know. If you want the most common words you can find lists of those on the internet as well.
Im not so sure many of these words come under 'must know' category. Unless turtle, Cube and Camel are a necessity for a beginner.
Absolute, agree with u
This lessons are very weirdly put together, like the order is very random and many of them are not essential words to learn as a beginner. It's more confusing than anything
Да смешной
Well, 2000 word vocabulary isn’t exactly beginner anymore. I’d use this more to check your progress
It’s simply common elementary vocabulary that can be used casually. Problem is that a lot of these words are incomplete because the first letter or 2 gets cut pretty often so you don’t hear the whole word. Either English or Russian. Wish the editing was better because it’s a great concept but not very well executed. Love the use of multiple voices for a more well founded exposure to the language.
The best way to learn russian words
is draw or use your imagination that describe the word and use it in a sentence ...the word will soldfy in your mind
Best luck for all 😘
That's how I remember, it stays in my mind that way. Repetition doesn't do it for me.
Gracias Pulga
@@adrenalinejunkie3828 yea that's what I mean.... and i want to give you another advice... watch dialogue russian with max in RUclips.... watch every video once and twice and more and and study words you don't know in every video..... and thank me later 😉

So grateful for your thoughtful inclusion of the the Russian words for: lady bug, gorilla, Ottava, hockey, koala, raspberry, hurricane & other such useful words among the 2000 essential words for foreigners in Russia! Of course I'll need to repeat them hundred of times to remember them, but at least if I ever get lost in Moscow, I would always be able to tell someone - in my best Russian accent of course - "koala, hurricane, gorilla, lady bug", rasberry, hockey & I'm sure somebody there could direct me straight away to "Ottava"'s mental health asylum.
LOL
Ahahahaahaha. Just found first list of words they came across and made a video.
Hahahahahahhahaha
Ok chill though, you dont realize how lucky we are to have all this learning material for free, with high quality audio and clean transcriptions.
@@antimatter2417 Yeah it's really cool that we don't need to pay for classes and we can study almost any language on RUclips or google for free
Thank you for making this! I am taking a memory course and this is perfect for helping me memorize all of these words.
When it's about a verb, it would be wise to add "to" before the English verb. Also, words like "far" are rather understood as adverbs, hence : daleko, rather than dalëky.

When you finally can read some Russian, but you sound like that kid In school who didn't want to get called on because he couldn't read very well. So he's over there sounding out each letter but gets the word correct ish. That's me right now haha but progress is progress thank you for this video!

Thanks for the video 🤩🤩🤩
Thank you so much for these videos ❤❤❤❤ apprechiate you for helping me to get better and better ❤❤❤❤
I really like this video a lot because it gives you words, not sentences sentences.Sentences are too much for me right now. I need the words first in order to put the sentences together later on.
Thank you veru much, очень спасибо
“Listen” is typically translated as «слушать» (like listening to music) and «слышать» as to “hear”
More like "the name of 2000 countries in Russian". Cut all those countries names and you've got a very useful video.
If you ever go to Russian elementary school, you might pass your first geography lesson!
Спасибо большое

Awesome words. I think it would have been better to order them from most used words to least used words imho.

Спасибо, это очень хорошее видео. Я много учился!
"Я много учился" means "I studied a lot", but I think what you wanted to say was "I've learned a lot". In Russian it would be "Я многому научился". Good luck learning Russian.
@@user-fl5vw9ol5y i appreciate that, i couldn't think of the word. I've been at it for a little over a year.
Amazing

Where are the list of 500 words gone? Have you removed them? If so, why? They were one of my regular resources. Any response is appreciated.

Обычно это бесполезно, но я лично такие листы со словами использую когда не успел набрать слов за день слушая и читая
From Europe it is not so dificult, many words are the same or close.
This is intermediate/advanced level. 200-300 words is defined as beginner in language learning

At 120:14 why does the word Dragonfly стрекоза sound nothing like the word shown on screen?
Yes because one of the first things I should know is how to say protestantism. Like I've ever even said that in english
Very disappointed that you took the other lists off RUclips. They were very helpful in progressing in the number of words I was learning. But thank you for putting them up in the first place!! Spaseba!!
My girlfriend is Russian and I am from Poland; we mostly communicate in English but I try learning Russian and I see there is so many common words. Very often I don't know a word so I will just use a Polish one thinking that my Russian is good just to be told that I am not speaking Russian but Polish :D
I am not sure about the list though - I am not convinced that knowing how to say a capital of Mexico is useful. I am sure there are far more common words
Nevertheless, good luck on learning Russian words!
dinner - ujin is right?
This is a very good list, but honestly: Why would an absolute beginner need to know words like "Mexiko" or "Ottawa"?

Wait. What? Every Russian beginner speaker MUST know "stingray."? Does that come up often in cafes in Moscow? "My stingray is Hindu like your squirrel." Or, "Excuse me madame, but you're standing on my stingray." Um......yes? Gospodi!

The Russian language, even if you know many languages, remains a dual language that is not necessary to learn😊

Я купил "2000 русский язык слова в контекст"
Итак с этот видео и тот книга, я буду понимаю лучше
Да, "сверчок" -- ну просто очень важное слово...
For anyone doing this, I recommend just doing it for learning pronunciation a bit, not to memorize a few thousands words lol
You wanna learn vocab in context of sentences! Otherwise you won't be able to use these words naturally, unless you already know how they are supposed to be used.
Maybe this is just a good way to review some vocab if you know all these words already , and listen at 2x speed, idk
Shouldn't you distinguish 'hear' = slyshat' with 'listen' = slushat'? You treat them as the same word, but they aren't.
koala and ladybug? Really?

At least I did not have to learn 10 ways to say hello in the first 30 minutes of thr video. That's what is SO annoying in nearly all courses! "You want to learn a new language? First we will tell you the top 10 ways to greet somebody! We'll tell you the most polite, the second most polite greeting plus 8 additionals variants!" but in reality as a foreignef all you need is to know is "priviet" 🤣
