This is my favorite band right now. I'm actually going to see them live in their hometown of Reading, PA soon, so I'm stoked AF for that. These guys straight up slay every time, and I can't wait for the new album. The new vocal style is raw, gritty, and perfect (see "Hellbirds" for the best example.) LETS. GO!!! 🤘
They did confirm that a new LP was coming out about a week ago before they dropped this song. They posted that the drums are complete for it on their twitter, so hopefully its not far away!
I love how the band is completely different. The Work was way more Synth heavy and more moody. This is sick, I love how present the bass is in some parts, its groovy, it has cleans, drum solos, guitar solos, plus the vocalist is killing it with vocals AND bass, they are firing in all cylinders. Also from the track names being called Helldivers, Criminals, the song SubOrbital Blues referencing 1917, I think they are going with a War thematic, could be completely off.
Song sucks. All the new singles are lame. Major drop off since Owls. Feels like they’ve turned into hot topic edgy nu death core. I’m fine with others enjoying it. Not trying to take that away from anyone, but these are my opinions. It’s just disappointing.
That's a common take with a lot of bands. "Old stuff good, new stuff shit". Bands like to evolve and switch things up to stay fresh. Some fans embrace changes and others reject them.

This, Hellbirds and Sub-Orbital Blues made one hell of an EP. Really excited for the next LP
