- I propose to Khatia Buniatishvili in the presence of Mr. Hondré, director of the Bordeaux Opera, to perform the first part of her concert on April 1, 2023 (Bordeaux auditorium), the eve of Autism Day, with the welcome support by Christophe Loubes. Mr. Hondré said he was open to at least one introduction. Filmed at the FNAC in Bordeaux by Virginie Leverne.
Khatia Buniatishvili plays most of the time with her eyes closed: “On stage […] I give myself completely, I surrender with my eyes closed, I become immaterial. Sound is a kind of meditation for me. Rigour, total control, is not fun”.
She is very followed by the media (TV, magazines including people) because she has several assets: she speaks 5 languages, she varies the formats of her musical performances (solo, duet with her sister or Renaud Capuçon, trio, quartet, quintet ), her fiery interpretations emancipate themselves in a very free game that does not hesitate to move away from the strict injunctions of the composer, she also dynamites the codes with her sex appeal. It thus gives a more modern image of classical music and it joins my conceptions of a less stuck "scholarly music" which widens (finally!) the audience to younger listeners.

Je n'ai pas de nouvelles de ce projet pour l'instant, mai je vais le relancer ces jours-ci bien que j'ai un emploi du temps chargé actuellement avec beaucoup de déplacements.
