Yes, the guy is good, but Jackie is amazing. Did I mention she's also stunningly beautiful as well? I have to amend my post from before, I didn't give Fernando the credit he deserves, he was great, and Jackie was great, and this performance was MAGNIFICENT. Oh, and she's still beautiful!
I don't care what language Jackie sing in I love it. It her voice.

Jackie has performed many wonderful duets, but this is possibly my favorite because of one note. It starts at 3:30 and lasts a full 10 seconds with both singers in perfect harmony and perfect pitch. Not a waver during the 10 seconds at full volume for both. Magnificent!! The audience obviously agreed as they literally came out of their seats cheering them on. A memorable performance.

Good heavens...I still remember Jackie as that 10 year old who stunned the world with her AGT audition.
Now she's a lovely young woman and still mesmerizing me (and probably a few others) with her talent.

One of my favorite duets. I hope that she and Fernando get together again. Two strong voices that compliment each other to perfection.

Miss Evancho displays a depth, range and clarity of tone like no other female vocalist in the world today. Her Angelic bell tone is unique, exquisite and intoxicating and her power is now through the roof. Her performance appears effortless and as always flawless. In addition to that criticism, she has matured into a breathtakingly beautiful young woman. She puts tears in my eyes. I hate to be so critical but it's the truth.
I would say the only female vocalist on par with her would be Lisa Gerrard; as for the males, Brendan Perry

When she opens her mouth to sing the music just pours out like it can't be stopped!!!!! And she can sing in that soft voice, and then turn the volume up so that her voice just floats from one to the other!!!!!

I have heard several renditions of this song, but this combination of Jackie and Fernando let me speechless. what a great combination of voices. Well, Jackie can be considered the quintessential "Dueter", Because of her great musical ear & her great .capability for harmony, she can duet with anybody, and she has proven it, over & over again.

Everett, are you serious? A braying donkey would also blow Varela off the stage. Compared with JME, Dion sounds like a braying donkey, with a bad accent to boot. Same for a lot of the alleged "vocalists" to whom she is compared. You have to go back to Linda Ronstadt or Ella Fitzgerald to find a vocalist who wouldn't be embarrassed being compared with Evancho. I also know you are a JME fan so I really don't get your comment.
Jackie understands that when its Fernando's special you don't try to blow him off the stage. Jackie is much to skilled for that kind of thinking!

That's why Jackie Evancho is such a favorite of singers to do duets with! She doesn't seek to bury "Ceasar" but rather to compliment his performance!
Part of Jackie Evancho's success and greatness is her ability to never outshine her duet partner! - She already knows how good a singer SHE is, so now her purpose in the duet is to help create (another) a piece of music that is memorable - because of the two THEM!
Ever since she was 7 or 8 years old, her duets have always seemed to compliment the other singer's voice rather than overshadow it. If it were otherwise, Jackie's persona might not be what it is and she might just be "another singer" wannabe!
It may just be this trait of Jackie's that makes other singers want to do duets with her (they don't fear that she would make them look bad)!

Jackie Evancho recently dedicated several months of her life to appear on "The Mask Singer". She reveled that she couldn't acknowledge her passed ten years of outstanding performances. The judges on TMS couldn't do it either. She explained that she is exploring performing genres of music called modern pop and light rock. After she was done with TMS, she stopped her exploration and continued singing classic pop tunes on her Instagram site. A ton of information exist about Jackie and it will serve her well to study it and introduce herself to who she is and how she got to be the great singer that she is today. It all started when she was 4 years old. She has been struggling emotionally for most of her life BUT seems to be slowly improving with dealing with that issue. Nothing pleases me more than to see her enjoying what she is doing on stage. I've seen it happen several times. On this performance, she showed signs of enjoying all that was going on at the end. Mr. Varela only worked with her for a short while BUT quickly learned what a thumbs up is to Jackie. For this great performance, I give both performers TWO THUMBS UP.

I'm sure other artists are standing in line to sing with her. And have her sing their music. I make it a point to watch all young, new singers (since her AGT debut) and she continues to be No.1 in my mind. (Amira Wilighagen has so much promise).
Their voices blend wonderfully. Jackie can shine brightly without any diminishing of the main "star." Her voice is so pure it's simply astounding.
