It also now allows you to earn firearm xp while in your unique ability weapon. Overall good changes, although I think a small rework/buff would still be great. But just being able to earn firearm xp now is big. Damage still sucks outside of killing regular mobs so I still don't think it's worth investing catalysts into this build. It just doesn't scale well enough to be worth all the time and effort improving the build. Pre-patch impressions: I am enjoying her playstyle, don't get me wrong. I do like the character. But anyone saying her DPS variant is A tier is coping, including myself. Also just to clarify, we're only talking about Noise surge here. Nothing else. Some people have very bad takes... Just because she is a support doesnt mean she should hit like a wet noodle (especially not when she is using a module advertised to turned her into a dps). Yujin and Enzo both have access to their guns, which will do more damage than Luna's Q. "Shes not meant to do dps" just does not make sense in a game like this and WF. This isn't a traditional MMORPG. If I wanted to play a dedicated support role where all I do is buff/heal, I would go play FFXIV. Being able to build a character in a non conventional way and with some investment still do decently well is what makes games like this fun. The devs wouldnt have given her a mod like noise surge if they didnt want to give players the option to experiment with non support builds. I agree for the most part but to hear people say she is unusable and put her at the bottom that's not realistic, I'm literally using her. Does she need a buff compared to others? No question, but not unplayable and is still fun to play, but still need more QOL touches especially for a new Descendant.
@@DubbedJey definitely not unplayable. She's still fun and does aoe clears just fine. It's just a bit disappointing to be unable to scale her damage well. Basically it felt like a waste to catalyst her for more damage, since she already has enough damage to clear mobs without full crit mods and full damage mods. Also, she can be a little clunky since you cant jump when you're stuck in her stage dance animation.
@@tfdmalok It feels bad and in a game where existing descendants Passives (Jayber) Mods (Esiemo Propaganda) broken in the last major update and new descendants are released like this it makes it hard to support anymore. I understand many of the negative reviews, cake can only go so far.
man i love how she looks and all of her design, but she's weak af and i don't like how she plays with the unique weapon being forced to use her abilities . wish she could use her abilities on regular guns and if u want enhanced abilities then u use the Q, that would make her way better imo

Her AOE farming is good, we don’t need heavy power creeping right out the bat it would be nuts if she could farm better then Bunny. I personally think her AOE build is up there with bunny and Valby, just not as good as them Her bossing damage is meh though, the gun just doesn’t do any damage. The other supports are able to support and use their dec’d out guns, she either needs damage compensation or rework the idea of her gun Her support though? Insane. Her modifiers make her like 25% better than stacking descendants. She can make 1 Lepic do what 2 lepics do and then reset it to do it again in very fast succession. Same goes for every other ability based descendant. She doesn’t need any buffing or fixing in that department
I think the noise surge as the devs is confuse or do not have clear picture about what the new character going to improve in the game outside support. In my opinion her base Q skill should have small AoE to boost her abillity to clear enemies. And this Noise surge mod is further boost her basic support skill. So we have luna with more mobility and range when using light step or someting (I forget what other luna's mod called) and enhanced support skill mod.
I'm having fun with her running noise surge, and I love her character design aesthetic, so that's all that matters. I don't expect her to do crazy damage or anything like that.When I run her as support, I mostly get randoms that refuse to use their skills, so she then becomes useless. Yup. As long as you're enjoying the character, then all's good and nobody should tell you otherwise. For me, I was just a little disappointed. There are also other problems, like not being able to earn weapon xp with her while she has her sonic gun out. Just hoping they fix/rework some of these 👍
@@tfdmalok the weapon xp is a huge issue, actually. If they somehow rework her to use her weapons and auras simultaneously, she would be a whole lot better in my opinion
@@ArkrideSolutionsOffice I'm banking on them reworking her at some point to make the buffs easier to pop as well as using guns more. Considering a good gun can sometimes do most of the heavy lifting, Descendant isn't that big a deal unless you're going for 6 second solo boss speed kills.

Wish you can switch tempos like rap be like a uzi going off to keep up the beat, less dmg but buffs allys hitting crit/weak spots you have hit. Country beat so you refill ammo in a circle for allys (never reload). Rock for self stacking crit dmg multiplyer.
Its weird seeing all the comments saying she needs a buff in terms of damage, she is meant to be a Support lol. Me and my Friend Lepic went into a premade FW run (where i wrote the other teammates not to do anything) and he was able to solo FW 1 Phase. Luna in your Team as a Support is better than x4 DPSes. People are sleeping on her because clickbaiters only show her damage builds whilst comparing it to Bunny.. You can still 1 Phase Gluttony with 3x Ult Lepics + Luna but you cant with x4 Lepics the damage doesn't even come close to what Luna offers (This was tested by me and my friends who use all the same build) But whatever keep hunting for those 300k - 500k hits..

This is a dumb argument that dont provide any useful feedback to the problem. No one care about how good she is as a support character that is not the problem. We know she is a support character genius. The problem is they give her a dps option that you have to farm for and min max into that sucks. Her D P S O P T I O N sucks. You pick between dps or support build, and the dps build sucks and needs buff to make any sense why for it to be an option.
She looks horribly underwhelming. I've had several in groups with me and still have no idea what purpose she serves except the lights and slightly irritating music lol
Her “purpose” is that she can massively buff your team. She can push pretty much anyone to 100% ability crit and gives ability damage and crit damage. Her dps spec is decent for farming it’s and ok alternative to bunny. But her buffs are where she really shines. She can put my ultimate gley at 100% crit that’s a massive dps increase for me.
@@lullacta4366I did 11s on frostwalker in pubs with 1 lepic and 2 bunnies. And I think I saw a video with 4 lepics doing 8s. So yeah, Im quite confident that 3 lepics + luna kills faster, though I too have no group to test this with 😢
The ONLY way to use Luna is pump her weapon and use her skill when team mates want to burst. Other than that shes not a skill dps char and never will be.

You're playing a Nexon game with horrible balance what did you expect more then half the cast is pretty bad on this game. Although I admit in a pre made group with her buffs will kill pretty much anything this game has to offer.
yeah.. she’s cool and different but worse in every way, her support isn’t even that good. Enzo is better. she’s need accessibility to be easier and better and she’s need tweaks to both here kits with the transcendent modules.. i really hope she gets changed because she’s one of my favorite but again.. bunny…

Me as her and three others the best was lepic second surprisingly is gley you can give them 100% crit with 100% up time which is op in itself. I think her design is geared towards a pre maid team cause without communicating randos can’t tell when you’re going to use buffs or reset cds. She does need a slight buff to her gun dps to be able to protect herself that’s my only real problem besides the skill power buff needs more notes definitely. When 20 enemies are rushing me I shouldn’t always have to rely on teammates to save me from tons of mobs. Use her other mod it doesn’t stat this but it increases everyone’s speed on your team in radius. I like her she’s fun to play in general gameplay bosses completely depends on the people you get can be amazing or terrible it’s a 50/50. But everything else she’s honestly kinda busted with buffs she negates the nana drain and speed decrease also the enemies that debuff you she can’t remove that with her 2. I think she’ll be like Octavia most people won’t use her cause you can just use a one shot character in the current meta. There’s really no need for supports at the moment in game.

I mean, the buffer is not really required yet in the game, and its really hard to look at her as sub DPS when my mid invested bunny crits for 1M+ :D

Shes a buffer but shes a buffer withextra steps granted free mp generator for lepic in boss fights you dont 1 tap is nice
So I did this same build but there is no reason to run it cause you have bunny. It’s just bunny with more steps and less dmg. 🤷
