I lived in Nürnberg for 4 years when I was stationed there in the '70s. I couldn't believe you had a hard time finding places to eat until I heard you say you were there on a Sunday. I was stationed at the old SS Barracks called the Sud Kaserne but was named Merrell Barracks by the US Army.
Nuremberg is such a beautiful and medieval city! I really love it! Other beatiful cities to visit here in Bavaria are Regensburg, Bamberg, Lindau and Würzburg. Servus from Munich :)
@Tick Rob Nuremberg was definitely one of our favorite cities. We can't wait to get back to Germany again, we know that we easily could have spent our entire 90 days there. Thank you for the recommendations!
This is now the third video that I have viewed and I am loving this channel more and more. At the .40 mark, I saw a very similar site as I saw on the site that the coffee shop had "Spaghetti Eis" and that made me so happy because I love Spaghetti is lol. The next time that I am in Nuremberg I will have to find this coffee shop and order some Spaghetti Eis lol, it's my thing lol. Great video guys, I loved it and I am looking forward to seeing more for sure :).
Good catch! I had to go back and watch it to see what you were referring to. We've never tried spaghetti eis! Something to look into next time we see them.
I saw in your About section that you're from Arizona, which is where I'm currently living! But only for another couple of years before my wife and I move to Germany permanently. Enjoy your time in Deutschland, it's a wonderful place!
Love Tia’s happy dance when she excited for good food. 😂 So glad I found your channel on my feed. Keep up the good work. Safe travels. And thanks for sharing your adventures with us.
7:37 - It's so cold, give me your sweater. And I'll also have another ice-cream ... hahaha. Love your videos and the chemistry of you two. Have a grin on my face the whole time :-)
@@OnePackWanderers German beers are made the same way since 1516, when the last "Reinheitsgebot" was established...ever since then the breweries stick to it, although it is no law. But it makes our beer the best in the world.
It was the cheapest ice cream parlor we had seen in Europe up until that point! With the pride flag, I couldn’t tell you why it was there, but it was. We made note of it because we thought it was nice to see.
@@OnePackWanderers There is beef between the old school part of the catholic church and the younger and more moderate people in the church. Some catholic priests support gay marriage some are against it. With the flags they show support.
@@OnePackWanderers The catholic church is very in trouble here in germany, alot of child abuse cases specially with young boys everywhere in germany, then it was revealed that the vatican was turning a blind eye on it for the last 30-40 years. Also one of the reason why many priests want a modern more moderate church.
@Marc. We did not know that was the case in Germany. Thank you for shedding some light on the subject. There is a similar situation in the United States.
A very uncomfortable visual. 😂😂😂 love your bogs

Very nice and enjoyable. I like the relaxed pace and that you show the sidestreets as well.
Thank you very for the kind words.

Hello fellow Arizonan!
Congratulations on the future move! What a difference Berlin will be from AZ.
@@OnePackWanderers we'll actually be moving near Kaiserslautern, in the Southwest region. My wife is from a small town near there.

Thank you for taking us with you on your adventures! Can you share what kind of app you were using for the menu translation? Thx
Thank you for joining us!
The app is called Google Translate.
I hope you have enjoyed the "Saure Zipfel".
It was delicious!
"Chilli today...Hot tamale."
Tia for scale. lol. Lovely vlog. What made the beer red?
Thank you! And we were told the beer is red due to the way they roast the malt! It is apparently a technique that has been practiced since the 1500s.

Bratwurst through the keyhole made me laugh so much 🤣
I we cracking up so hard at that 😂😂 Such a weird piece of history behind those little sausages 😂

Cheap eats!!!!!
That’s pretty much our motto at this point 😂
Two things I couldn't quite understand: 1. 1.6 € for the ice cream is cheap to you? 2. gay flag on a church? How is that even possible?

Because obviously, Gay people don't require salvation.
