This used to be my favorite game back then, with a potato pc there wasn't many options. Before all the pay to win stuff the game was really fun, with the zombie scenario and zombie shelter were my favorite
always played zombie shelter, best mode ever but even with good pc it was lagging at night lol. i miss the old nexon zombies tbh
so true i was able to play this game with my pentium and i had a lot of fun before the bad updates came out
i still remember it being Counter strike Nexon Zombies and i had so much fun in it. Now it genuinely doesnt feel good anymore

this game was available in my country and was known as CSO ( Counter Strike Online ), it was released by a local publisher. the game was pretty big at the time ( late 10's - early 10's ). there's a lot pay to win with the guns though, especially for the zombie mode.
This is actually amazing. Revisiting the roots not caring about the new stuff because you love it is such a great feeling. Thank you James :D

@@aiakos3673 its impossible to revive this game. unless they start actually balancing it and making it less p2w then yeah it might have a chance but the engine it runs on is still pretty old and might need to switch engines

I really like how this era's FPS came outta asia all looks like this, some CS spinoff every kids will ""legally"" play at your local Cybercafe, zombie, booba and gold guns while you are at it. Nexon are moving to other kind of booba now(something archive) but I am glad these relic of game are still out there somehow.

Counter Strike Nexon was one of my favorite games. Used to be called Nexon Zombies now its Nexon Studio, although it was so fun

I remember playing this every day a while ago. I would do the zombie scenario stuff for the boxes and someone would always drop an OP weapon to us every wave. I occasionally played zombie shelter but I didnt know what to do (and it was really fucking scary cause of the big zombies). It was actually fun before the game started getting REALLY P2W.
i just wish that there would be servers that arent laggy af, then i would actually play it sometimes for the nostalgia and the zombie mods

cs 1.6 was the first game i activated on steam with the cs anthology in 2008-ish ?
And before that had a pirated copy of half-lfe & 1.6 playing both svencoop 3.0 & random hosted servers on counter strike 1.5.
Would not surprise me if there are still servers hosted on the non steam versions on the won2 network.

I grew up playing the zombies scenario and zombies shelter. I was so sad to return and see that the game fell from grace in the years I was gone.

In this game (Counter-Strike 1), there was a chance for really active interaction between North American and Korean users community and the potential for tons of memes,
but it's crazy that there was literally zero interaction at all. now I'm sad but not sad sad for real, just meh.
It's even more interesting when hear how Nexon was blatantly targeting users' money with their marketing in Korea tho lol.
