not too surprised, morty spent more time with fetching wine instead of spending time with jessica in that episode, (side note: he should have just brought back the whole case back instead of entertaining ricks alternate universe wine aging) It just goes to show how desensitized he has become to portal/dimension traveling to the point he acts nonchalant to a fault, maybe he should have gone into the alternate dimension with jessica, because time goes slowly there, they would have had plenty of time to date in a different world, instead of constantly going back and forth to his world and back. Rick basically gave him all the time in the world to date her and he foolishly didn't think to make use of it, instead he hyperfocused on being present to serve rick's nemesis.
It’s funny how Morty had an actual girlfriend in Planeteena, breaks up with her when she started to take her activism to an extreme level, then moves on by using a horse breeding machine. That was one awkward yet HILARIOUS transition 😂😂😂
I wish they did more of Morty standing up for himself to his family. Also Rick intentionally re-toxifying him because Rick wanted his old “dog” (Ricks words in a later episode) back is incredibly horrible and was brushed under the rug too quickly imo.

Morty is overshadowed by the overwhelming power of those around him but we should get a season that shows the evolution of Morty. They still have Rick primes body so Rick could give morty his healing factor and other modifications. Morty following after his grandpa could result in him becoming the strongest one in the multiverse. It was already shown early on when Rick says “be better than me” that he knows it’s possible.
Honestly, The Multiverse would be MUCH Safer if Rick just cloned Monty his own pitch-perfect Girlfriend… And not just as a normal Human that could die in any of their adventures. Give her some Shape/Gender-shifting, a healing factor that can be applied to herself and others, various cybernetic and/or biomechanical augments, and maybe give her the ability make temporary clones of her self, like Meeseeks that trade durability and longevity for flawless obedience. Something to keep up with them so she doesn’t die mid-adventure and drive Morty to the dark side.
Rick potion number 9 is one of the best episodes. I actually liked the old movie, love potion number 9. I thought it was a great parody. And it masterfully shows rick and mortys shtick that makes the show so great.
I’m hoping for the absolute best, these voices better bring something to the table that can replace Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon, especially considering they don’t do impressions. The voices must encapsulate the characters
