Turn your BMCs upside down and look at the bottom side. If it's an edge style, the pattern will be right on the edge of the metal. If it's a knock-out style, there will be a straight portion of metal after the design. If it's a chain style, there will not be a metal portion before or after the pattern.
Every knock out BMC creates such a different look!!!
