I am a big history buff and the little bit of history you put into your videos are just perfect! Not too much but just enough to make you look it up yourself. Well done you two.
When we were in the black hills July 2020, we passed on touringCrazy Horse, --just saw it from afar, and we've regretted it. We do plan to go back to that area and def wanna visit now thanks to your excellent look at it. I'd also like to see the Kevin Costner Dances With Wolves thing near there. You could easily spend a while in the area and not see it all. Once again great content and great editing! 😎Dave and Lorrie
Thank you for the videos, I watch them every week. You have a great camera quality, which I enjoy, and sound equipment too. Your content and editing is superior as compared to some of the other RUclips channels I watch. Again, thanks and keep up the good work.
Thanks Allan, that means a lot! We’re always working on how we can improve that side of things and our storytelling! Thanks for appreciating it, all the best!! 🙌🏽
I'm so grateful for your videos, I mean, there isn't anything better than being out with nature 😍! I also really enjoy the historical context you provide us, it's the perfect amount!
Hey, Olivia and Nathan! Just wanted to say hello 👋🏻 My husband and I enjoy watching your adventures and we missed you this week. Hope you’re doing ok. 💕
🥰 you rock Michele (& Husband)! Thank you so much for writing us. We are doing awesome and can’t wait for you to see our new vid tomorrow! Currently finishing up the sound on it now. Hope you are having a great weekend, Olivia
@@ONWorldTravel Oh, good! 👍🏼🤗 So glad to hear all is well. My husband subscribed a while ago & we’ve been watching your channel, together, on his account, but I thought I’d subscribe too (“for the algorithm” lol). We can’t wait to see your latest adventure. 🤗
I watched your 3 South Dakota videos and enjoyed every one. Things that might interest you on a return visit to western SD are visiting Deadwood, driving through Spearfish Canyon, visiting Devil's Tower NM in Wyoming, and driving US 83 or NE 97 through the Sand Hills of Nebraska. Great videos.
There's just something about Black Hills that draws me to it. The first time I visit Crazy Horse Memorial was in 1973. I was 10yr old. It's too bad you never made it to Deadwood. One of my favorite places to be also and I think you both would have loved it.
You’ve made this video really well and just got yourself a new subscriber! It is honestly brilliant and now one of the top places I look forward to visiting when I finally visit the US!
Thank you we are making the trip in June of next year. Love watching your videos we just got a class a motor home And hope to make many trips and it's so helpful to see your videos. Is keep up the good work and have fun.
I’d love it if you guys would post the map of all the places you’ve gone in the USA. I wanted to show a coworker and couldn’t find it quickly. I’m so amazed and definitely want to share with others 🥰👍
We were in this area a few months ago, but didn’t visit Crazy Horse. We could see it from the back of our campsite and watched the laser show from the campground entrance road though!
Went there the second week of October 2021 in about 26 inches of snow. It was amazing. But the truly amazing part was the historical stories passed on by the Native Americans. Mainly don’t ever trust the government. Most of the state park and Needles Hwy was shut down due to the snow. What a bummer.
Hi guys, great video! I always look forward to your adventures. Just a FYI, Stephen E Ambrose wrote a fantastic book called “Crazy Horse and Custer: The Parallel Lives of Two American Warriors”. Ambrose is one of my favorite authors and I couldn’t put the book down once I started the read. I HIGHLY recommend the book. On a side note, Custer was a 💩
In the year 1775/1776 a Lakota leader named Standing Bull with a band of followers traveled west of the Missouri River and discovered the Black Hills bringing back sprigs from a tall growing tree. Years later a Lakota man by the name of His Horse Foolish and his wife Rattle Blanket Woman had a child. The child was light complected and had yellow curly hair. Rattle Blanket Woman was accused of sleeping with a white man. The child was named "Curly" The child Curly's mother committed suicide when he was four years old. Rattle Blanket Woman had been in love with the brother of His Horse Foolish's brother who was killed in battle with an enemy. At around age ten Curly received a new name "His Horse Stands Looking" because he walked up to a wild stallion and placed a lead on it. At age sixteen His Horse Stands Looking proved himself in battle saving others and killing two enemies. At that time his father gave him the name "Crazy Horse" which had been his grandfathers name. Crazy Horse's ambition was to be a holy man like his father and grand father. The band of Lakota Crazy Horse belonged to refused the right of the Sun Dance to any holy man who had killed a man so Crazy Horse died without those scares. A truly great man and leader who went through many troubled times.
Hello, but many years ago, when I discovered this CRAZY HORSE MEMORIAL, I sent $100, I was working and could afford it , I had figured to old man died, bu family is continuing it , I have NEVER been out that part of the world, but now at 80 years, doubt it But wish it to continue 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Too bad you had to bypass Deadwood. We went to the bar where Wild Bill Hickok was shot, and only 5 blocks away, Boot Hill, where he, Calamity Jane, and others are buried. Also you'd love the town itself.
Hey George!! Yea we were bummed about having to skip that!! But at least it gives us a few new things to look forward to doing next time around!! Thanks for the suggestions!! Cheers!

My mother and I went to the Crazy Horse Monument in the 60's. At that time you could start to make out the nose. I am so anxious to go back.

We did your trip in 2019. it was awesome but you really missed out not driving Spearfish Canyon! Deadwood & Devils Tower were spectacular also!

Listen to them complain about $30.

They'll have it finished in about 350 years
What is the name of the RV Park you stayed? Thx
It’s called Heartland RV Park & Cabins, it’s about an hour drive from Crazy Horse!! Thanks for watching! 👍🏽
There are no known photos of Crazy Horse due to his lack of trust in the white man.
We did hear that. Very interesting..thanks for sharing!!
