Did you check the book labeled black Seminole written in the forties. It had all that information including the fact that one got the Medal of Honor

This is very informative but this language in the beginning of your presentation is that of the Gullah language. Being that of Gullah descent, it would be really cool if you would include a presentation on both cultures when you begin to discuss Afro creole seminoles because words such as Hunnah, Tenky and day clean are all from the Gullah language. Although, in many instances, we are one in the same, it's often a challenge to talk about one in depth and not about the other. Just a suggestion to honor both.

Hi Ms. Joi--Thank you! I noticed that when I can skip the ad and go to the video, it starts about 14 minutes into the video. Did this happen to you, too? Windy only touched on Gullah culture briefly because of time constraints. Perhaps a future presentation can explore Gullah culture in greater depth?

Thank you for the lesson, also Please be cognizant of the “Black Natives” that came before the Native Americans. Native Americans were adopted into “Black Native” tribes. Not the other way around.

Not true at all lol Indigenous people of the Americas are ethnically different from those of African ethnicity. That doesn’t diminish the important cultural history of black people in Africa and the Americas. But don’t erase brown history.

You’re wrong Ancestry is documentation.. in the southeastern United States since 1790 the people and population of the Southeast were negros. We keep records and follow the money . To even reply without evidence just highlights the point we make about indoctrination through public schools..@@sykeraid4944 system. Investigators solve crime by collecting evidence examining clues tracking down suspects following leads.. If you are here in America there’s r3cord of that. It’s just that simple and the people saying they were here first have no contact with European until the 1800s after the US crossed the Mississippi. The Indian had Christian names and there tribal name s. We know who’s who end. Of story

That’s why I would stick to my ancestors who were brought over here on the ships from the continent of Africa. We were not African we were of the Shemite bloodline descendants according to the Old Testament Deuteronomy chapter 28 . There are many key verses that explains why no matter where we are we would be hated by others ( to me this explains the controversy between the so called native Americans) you can read this chapter in the KJV BIBLE. The 68 th verse identifies us as those people who we are descendants of. Deuteronomy 28:68 And the Lord shall bring thee into Egypt again with ships, by the way whereof I spake unto thee, Thou shalt see it no more again: and there ye shall be sold unto your enemies for bondmen and bondwomen, and no man shall buy you.
