If you're after a modern guitar with all of the right tones, ergonomics and snazzy looks minus the high price tag, the Artist AMS6 could be for you. The AMS6 marries multi-scale fretboard ergonomics with a couple of great pickups and a simple 3-way toggle. It does clean to mean with zero fuss and it's light enough to play all night and then sling over your shoulder for the walk home. The AMS6 looks good, sounds great and is easy on the fingers. At the time of filming stock was about a month away so my suggestion would be to get your order in now.

Excellent preset tones but phenomenal the guitar build at this price point. Fantastic review mate
Hey Brett, what do you think about the placement of the knobs (volume one in particular), right in the way of the hand as you down stroke ... I'm thinking about how in something strummy the hand would go much further and that knob position bugs me.
I got one the intonation was out really bad ,I had to move the bridge back 7mm to fix it ,but the tuners are not fine ,and the b string was nearly immovable, I had to take it completely apart and rethread the thread, the other issue is next to zero downward angle on the bridge after the saddle ,it's nearly level meaning bends move the strings all over the saddle ,Not good ,the neck is beautiful, but overall it took a lot of work to make it playable ,I li,e it now but in reality it needs a decent bridge and saddle still.
Splendid as usual. Have you ever tried a Carvin / Kiesel?
Nah, those companies aren't interested in old blokes like me. Wouldn't mind, though!
Artist seem to have made a beauty here... just taking time for me to adjust with no headstock!🤔
I tried to get an Artist 7 or 8 before I got my Zeru 8 string but they were always out of stock and who wants to wait....?
Yeah I had one and returned it, as it could not be properly intonation beyond the 12 fret. The tuner placement did not allow enough range to properly intonation. Very disappointed. I explained the problem and asked for them to fix the design, they gave me a refund but no mention of fixing a bad design.
How they manage to sell guitars at this price is beyond me, most guitars in this price range are trash this thing looks and sounds highend. I realise there is a lot of digital processing with effect but on its own i can tell this guitar would sound sweet.
How do you hang them on a wall? 😂
Nice playing as usual Brett. Fugly axe...
They make hangars for headless.....
I subscribed ❤
oof, that dirty sound at the beginning of the vid is great!
wait....450aud? crazy!
btw, is that preset up on axechange?
Wow..
they need a 7 string guitar!
Yeah, but.....
Thats exactly how I feel about modern headless mulitiscale guitars....😂
Ok I see its great but.......cant quite express why its so boring to me. I'm sure its amazing and sounds amazing for sure but ....meh
They're always sold out.....6s, 7s, AND 8's......
Out of tune. This is what worries me about Artist guitars.
I know, right? I always make sure any guitar I buy is in tune. Imagine if we could tune our own guitars one day. 🤞🤞
