Will your daughter still get to go to the same school or are you in a new town? Just think, your first Thanksgiving and Christmas in your new home when you didn't expect to move in 'til January. Thank you so much! We rented a truck in order to move our plants and she is currently in the same school but we will probably end up changing schools.

Please make sure to wear gloves to seal the grout. Please! My friend had a bad reaction from the sealer touching the grout. Be careful...okay sorry I am being a mom. Sorry about that. Anyway, this is a stepping stone to move in bigger and better! Have a wonderful Christmas!

Thank you! We did carpets in bedrooms and vinyl in main areas. It is kind of a cream color but I don’t remember the name off hand.

My dad had Alzheimer's and we had to remodel to change everything white with no patterns in the bed room. It helped him because they hallucinate sometimes the patterns evolve into scary characters for them. White was a better choice for his room and bathroom and shower. It's the little things sometimes. Maybe that's the reason hospitals have white sheets? Have fun.

I knew it wasn’t like you not to post anything. So I rewatched a couple videos.. I really enjoy all the DIY’s videos..
My children are grown and out on their own my daughter is married and has 3 of my beautiful grandchildren and my son is still a single man and that’s ok ... Some day he might get married and I know he wants children well as we want him to have children.. We always spend Thanksgiving with my daughter and her husband and children.. Christmas we always spend the night Christmas Eve so we can see what Santa has brought them even the older two wait on Santa they wouldn’t dare ruin it for their little brother.. That’s so sweet too me.. Hope you get to visit your family.. Can’t wait to see your home and all the DIY’s you’re going to do for your home....

Rebecca, do you have plans to paint any of the rooms? Definitely film up there! You made beautiful things for their Tree's last year.
The cheapest way to build a house was to have the painters do everything in one color and then we can add wall paper, paint, tile and accent walls ourselves later :)

Rebecca your new house is beautiful! I am very happy for you all. I do not know what i wyll be doing for Christmas but i am so happy I will have off this Christmas and New Years, mot like tte last 2 years. For Thanksiving my Dad is taking my biyfriend and i out to Clides in Georgtown a very okd part of Washington, DC. Clides makes a traditional Thanksgiving dinner and i have never been to this Clides before. The one ww are custom to going to is in an awesome stone okf buikding with a duck decoy riom, a yaght room where you sit kiterakky in old parts of boats and beautiful photograihs of tte coast of Cape Cod, Connecticut, Maine, etc.
I had hoped to have my new littie place ready to entertain but, i hage been working EVERY Saturday for months at my job, then GM had rheir strine and its been horrible trying ti get parts to fix tye cars and now we are getting 500 parts a day and tge stess level is thru tte roof. My place is overwhelming to me and i got rid of most of my furniture in irder ti keep what myom left me when she passed away but during covid the complexes with elevators were not renting tte empty units. I am on tte 3rd floor, no elevator with my disabled leg. The laundry room is in another building and there are 3 washers and 3 dryers for 35 units. God has me here gor a reason. Last year was tge first Christmas not being in my Moms house and sane with Thanksgiving. I didnt decorate much tor either holiday but im feeking better this year otger than being under tge weather since Saturday.
My former kitchen where I lived for 20 years had brand new white cabinets. I took velvet red ribbon and hung pretty wreaths on the outside of each cabinet door. I think your kitchen cabinets would look beautiful like that. Congradulatuons on your new house. Happy Thanksgiving,

It might be fun to get your family to help! It's always funny to watch other families and it makes me feel normal. I'm think everybody's family has a little nut😂 in it .. makes it fun.
I got a loveseat for my piano room so now we can put our tree in there and celebrate Christmas there The dining room is connected It is really nice having this room set up for celebrations now
