I evacuated from Tampa 3 days before the hurricane on Sunday staying in Georgia in a hotel. I'm thinking of staying another week or two before returning. I spoke to my neighbors and they say there is definitely severe gas shortages. Last thing needed is me coming back needing gas, too. I'm in a nice hotel, Popeye's chicken across the street, I'll ride it out a bit longer in Georgia and see what new storms may be coming..
It took me five days to find and get gas,We need gas, Ron says it's not supply but demand,well your the governor so let's get people gas and get their electric up....we are lucky we only had to endure 4 days without but my neighbors across the street have been out almost a week now and gas is scarce and we need it to get up and start back to work and open school!!!
@@victoriaporter8665 i have been out of gas for a week barely working cell phone .. I don’t even have gas to go to any gas stations at this point .. so not sure what the options are at this point.
@@fizzananso sorry 😢I know a lot of areas are worse off,I was so lucky to leave work early and be on empty and happen into a gas line that moved quickly,im praying for you to get the help you need and all your utilities up quickly 🙏❤️
Its getting better daily but this will take months maybe years to fix ..lived here 15 yrs and never had a storm this damaging 😢its everyone on the road for nothing! If your not in need and can stay home do so that the ones in need can get there needs met❤

Republican Governor spent the state's surplus on culture warfare nonsense instead of more thorough preparations and planning. The fact there are supplies of gas available somewhere but it's not getting delivered to. The point of need is on that useless Governor.

Instead of sitting in lines for hours drive south. Go to Charlotte County. Everything is open and working. There are plenty of supplies.
